The results of the analysis of novocainic vagosympathetic and modified trigeminosympathetic blocks action are presented. The method of trigeminosympathetic block performance and the results of treatment of 37 patients with maxillofacial region trauma and its use are described. The action of novocainic block is realized by microcirculation normalization providing reparative and proliferative processes, maxillofacial region and central nervous system trauma.
In the course of experimental investigations as well as during the use of the paravertebral block in the combined therapy of patients it was established that the redistribution of the regional blood flow, the increase of the minute volume of blood in the system or in the affected organ, and the recovery of the microcirculation conditions, along with the changes of vegetative centers excitability are the pathogenetic basis for the paravertebral block effect. In the end this positive dynamics manifests itself in antiedematic and antiinflammatory effects of the paravertebral block as well as, probably, in the stimulation of reparation of tissue properties.
The prophylaxis method of postoperative mediastinitis after median sternotomy by the. block method of the basic parasternal neurovescular fascicles is described. The results obtained are analysed in 52 patients, of which 22 patients form the control group. The new method developed is a simple but effective method of postoperative mediastinitis prophylaxis and is favourable for the best healing of the sternotomie wound and decrease of the pain syndrome.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
