In this paper we have considered the use of satellite navigation systems illumination signals in passive radars stations. The method of simulation modeling obtained an estimates of the energy parameters of satellite signals, calculated the geometric dimensions of the receiving antenna, the accumulation time, and were formed criteria for determination range and altitude of the target for its detection with a given signal-to-noise ratio
