Ortner's syndrome (cardiovocal syndrome) is a rare cause of unilateral vocal cord paralysis that results from compression of the left recurrent laryngeal nerve by enlarged vascular structures. Most commonly, it is caused by an enlarged left atrium, but other rare causes include ascending aortic aneurysm or pulmonary artery aneurysm. Although very rarely encountered nowadays, bilharziasis is still one of the main causes of pulmonary artery aneurysm in endemic areas. Hereby, we report a case of Ortner's syndrome due to a large pulmonary artery aneurysm in a woman with history of bilharziasis.

Single layer organic light emitting diode (OLED)devices based on poly{[2-methoxy-5-(-2ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene]vinylene}(MEH-PPV)are fabricated and studied in this work .There are several factors that affect the performance of the fabricated OLED samples. Some of these factors are related to the fabrication parameters chosen for the OLED fabrication process. The effect of concentration and annealing temperature are investigated. Other environmental factors such as humidity or temperature affect the performance of fabricated OLED samples under long term exposure. An internet of things environment monitoring system (IoT-EMS) is developed to monitor and study the effect of these factors on the performance of the OLED samples. Exposure to humidity is found to severely degrade the samples. In summary, the optimum concentration for MEH-PPV is concluded to be4 mg/ml, and the best annealing temperature is 90C in this study. It is also deduced that humidity of 72-75% caused degradation of the samples in less than 20 hours.

The ability of supplementing Bifidobacterium yoghurt with oils of herbs (Tolue or Anissed or Peppermint or Caraway oil) was investigated. Acceptable concentrations were 0.4, 0.2, 0.05 and 0.05% (v/v), respectively. Clear increases in acetaldehyde content, -galactosidase activity and total organic acids were detected. On the other hand, the supplementation gives an additional benefits for yoghurt, not only therapeutic and caraminative effects but also enhancing of Bifidobacterium in milk. Sensory evaluation showed that fresh or stored bio-yoghurt containing Tolue or Anissed oils were acceptable followed by Peppermint and Caraway against plain bioyoghurt.
