Roga (disease) was an ancient problem that exists and so far remains incomplete tackling. Advances in science and technology included the modern medical systems with the various sophistication of the tools were also overwhelmed. The effects of the modern synthetic drugs might leave the chemical impact problems. Considering that, the society become worried about the impact. In addition, the price of the modern medicine was also quite high, difficult to reach by the society who had the ability to the lower middle economy. Based on these considerations, the Pasraman Sri Jagat Amertham, Bitra, Gianyar Regency and UKM Yoga Marga Rahayu, University of Hindu Indonesia observes the traditional health care and treatment system as an alternative way. The system of the treatment and coaching was patient, diligently, and sincere doing the series of Surya Namaskara movement. There were two terms discussed in the present study, i.e. (1) how was the series of Surya Namaskara movement exhibited by Pasraman Sri Jagat Amertham devotees, Bitra Village, Gianyar Regency and the students of UKM Yoga Marga Rahayu, University of Hindu Indonesia; (2) What were the benefits perceived by Pasraman Sri Jagat Amertham, Bitra, Gianyar Regency and UKM Yoga Marga Rahayu, University of Hindu Indonesia on physical health? The methods that were used to discuss the problems included observations and interviews for collecting the data, whereas, the descriptions and interpretations were used in describing, explaining, and analyzing data. Through the ways mentioned above, Surya Namaskara movement consists of the twelve dynamic movements. However, before doing Surya Namaskara movement begins with praying, that was Gayatri Mantran song three times and pranawa Om as many as five times then do a new stretching (pavanamuktasana). Steady, patient, diligent and sincere performing were series of Surya Namaskara movements could balance the internal organs (human) system primarily related to the respiratory system, circulatory system, digestive system, urinary or urinal system, skin system, nervous system, and endocrine system. The endocrine glands included the pituitary, pineal, thyroid, parathyroid, thymus, adrenal and gonads. With the balance of the internal organs, the healthy physically would be better and the mind would be calm and peaceful.
Due to the different properties of the materials, the fusion welding of dissimilar metals may be difficult. Structural irregularities may form as a result of various phase transformations during welding. Solid-state welding, as opposed to fusion welding, occurs below the melting temperature. As a result of the melting and solidification phenomena that happen in fusion welding, solid-state welding is expected to reduce the potential for phase transformation. This paper describes the use of a rotary friction welding technique to join carbon steel and 304 stainless steel. The purpose of this work is to investigate the characteristics of rotary friction welding (RFW) when joining 304 stainless steel to carbon steels with different carbon contents. Experiments were carried out on the RFW of low- and medium-carbon steels with 304 stainless steel. The investigation was carried out using the Taguchi method of experimental design. The joints’ tensile strengths and microstructures were evaluated. The parameters that had the greatest influence on the tensile strengths of the welding results were identified. The combination of parameters resulting in the greatest tensile strength is also suggested. A microstructural examination of the weldment revealed mechanical mixing and interlocking.
Internet addiction in adolescent during pandemic COVID-19 will be predicted to be increased more than ever. There is need prevention or intervention program to solve this problem. Hatha yoga is considered to be impact mind-body stress relieving exercise found that improve the internet addiction sign and symptoms, but lack of evidence reviews about neurobiology model that effect Hatha yoga and internet addiction. This present review summarizes about Hatha yoga epigenetic mechanism effects could improve in internet addiction. PubMed, ResearchGate and Google scholar have been searched with the following key terms “Internet Addiction and Yoga”, “Yoga and Mental Health”, “Addiction”, “Yoga”, “Addiction and COVID-19”, “exercises and mental health”, “exercise and brain neuroplasticity” from December 2019 up to December 2020. Study in the internet addiction found that significant the expression level of the mRNA of D5 dopamine receptor was significant down-regulated in peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs). The literature summarized in this review have shown that Hatha yoga effect through epigenetic process could improve the gene expression mRNA of D5 dopamine receptor in PBLs in the brain in order to improve internet addiction symptoms and sign and active transcription factor Nrf2 to increase the immune system.
This study examines cultural poverty in the lives of economically poor Hindus in Karangasem Regency. Poverty is a serious problem in Karangasem Regency, such that until the present time Karangasem Regency occupies the top position as the region with the highest number of poor people in Bali Province. Various efforts have been made to alleviate poverty but the difficulty of poverty reduction in Karangasem Regency is inseparable from the occurrence of cultural poverty, such as the values, attitudes, and behavior of the poor who are, in this case, predominantly Hindus. This article discusses some of the reasons for the occurrence, forms and implications of cultural poverty.
The phenomenon of the transformation of traditional Balinese houses in Banjar Umacandi is interesting to study. The perpetrators of the conversion of religion from Hinduism to Christianity, should live in the Christian world, but the perpetrators of the conversion in Banjar Umacadi still apply some of the values of traditional Balinese houses as a form of Balinese culture derived from the teachings of Hinduism. The change in traditional Balinese houses has three implications, namely: (a) the side of creating new concepts, (b) developing and strengthening existing concepts, (c) losing the original concept. This article will describe the transformation of traditional Balinese dwelling houses by simultaneously exploring the conversion of religion from Hinduism to Christianity. In the hope that it can be understood the extent of the change in traditional Balinese dwelling houses in the middle of an area with high religious conversion. These changes have an impact on the transformation of traditional Balinese values, especially in terms of Balinese building architecture, in addition to the values of social wisdom and other local wisdom values. Furthermore, this article aims to investigate the factors causing the transformation of traditional Balinese houses, the transformation process and the implications of transformation on socio-cultural and religious life in Banjar Umacandi, Buduk Village. The method used is qualitative research, because the emphasis is not on measurement but on trying to find the subjective meaning of the research subject. The results showed that economic factors are the main factors that influence the transformation of traditional Balinese residential houses in Banjar Umacandi. Ideological factors are not the main factors causing the transformation of traditional Balinese residential houses in Banjar Umacandi. The transformation of residential houses in Banjar Umacandi has not yet fully occurred. Local residences have transformed from traditional Balinese houses into modern houses (non-traditional architecture) in the traditional Balinese architectural style. The concept of a modern house in the Balinese architectural style that is still maintained, has implications for the socio-cultural life and the local waga religion. The fusion between the Hindu system of citizens and conversion actors who still maintain the concept of Balinese culture as a common thread, has an impact on the creation of harmonization in Banjar Umacandi to this day.
