This study aims to assess green start-up finance in developing tourism villages in Bali. Green start-up finance has the aim of maintaining tourism sustainability by promoting environmental conservation issues. Investors do not all have an initial goal towards green issues in building a business even though this issue is an important issue in maintaining business. Data is collected through two stages, namely debt interviews and questionnaires. The results of the qualitative analysis were used to create a questionnaire to be distributed to the tourism village manager. Eighty managers from one hundred who have answered questionnaires delivered via e-mail and mail. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of a qualitative study that green start-up finance has not yet appeared in the beginning in supporting the environment that arises are problems of economic improvement. Quantitatively, the tourism village manager on average sixty-five percent agrees that in green start-up finance activities include environmentally friendly products/ services, product/ service features, reputation, customer types, innovativeness, entrepreneurial motivation, market orientation, company growth, strategic issues, institutional entrepreneurship. The results of this study provide an overview for the managers of many topics involved in implementing green start-up finance and are indispensable in maintaining sustainable village tourism. These results can be further developed by linking with the local culture and the village economy.
Keberhasilan desa wisata untuk mendatangkan wisatawan tergantung kepada jaringan distributor pariwisata seperti perusahaan transport, tour operator, dan travel agent yang dikenal sebagai rantai pasokan pariwisata (Tourism Supply Chain-TSC). Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mewujudkan TSC di Desa Wisata Pelaga agar dapat mendatangkan wisatawan secara berkesinambungan melalui TSC. Pengabdian tahun 2020 adalah untuk mempersiapkan persyaratan utama desa wisata yaitu atraksi, amenities, dan akomodasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan metode pattern matching. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa khusus pada Desa Wisata Pelaga atraksi wisata (keindahan alam dan agrowisata) telah siap sebagai produk wisata, akan tetapi tidak ada akomodasi dan amenities. Terkait hal tersebut maka dua buah kamar di dua keluarga dijadikan percontohan homestay, pelatihan Bahasa Inggris dan kuliner diberikan kepada pemuda desa, serta pembuatan brosur, website dan papan penunjuk arah.
Purpose: The research is to determine whether the implementation of standard operating procedure (SOP) can improve the performance of a butler in a hotel located in Jimbaran tourist area, Bali, Indonesia, and find out the efforts that can be applied to improve the performance of the butler employees. Research methods: This research uses descriptive qualitative method using data collection methods such as observation method by directly observing how a hotel butler handles guests. An interview is done to butler employees, head butler and room division manager; and finally using questionnaires given to all butlers. Findings: All butler of the hotel executes the SOP accordingly and correctly and have also worked optimally. The implementation of the SOP that are well implemented by butler employee has a positive impact on employee performance thus they can work thoroughly, disciplined, and in an organized manner. Implication: SOP is very important to be implemented by butler to improve the performance of butler employees at the hotel.
The concept of tourism village has been enforced by the provincial government in Bali. The main purpose is that tourism can be enjoyed by the community not only by a few tourism actors. This study attempts to; (1) know the potential and priorities of superior potentials that can be developed; (2) find out how the Potential-Based Tourism Model in Pelaga Tourism Village, Petang District, Badung Regency; and (3) determine the role of stakeholders involved in the development of a Potential Based Tourism Model in Pelaga Tourism Village, Petang District, Badung Regency. The research was conducted utilizing qualitative research to find out and explore tourism development in Pelaga Tourism Village. Data collection techniques using indepth interviews, observation, and documentation. Interviews are conducted with stakeholders as the informant. Then the data will be analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques. The main outcome of this study is the development of a Potential-Based Tourism Model in Pelaga Tourism Village, Petang District, Badung Regency. The urge for a marketing strategy suitable for Pelaga Tourism Village is the recommendation for further research. Hence the importance of the marketing strategy to promote a tourism destination.
Purpose: This research is done to find out the implementation of check in handling by receptionist in improving the quality of service at a 5 star hotel located in Ubud tourist area, Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia. Research methods: Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature study. The analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive using a 4 level likert scale. Findings: The overall implementation of check in handling has been implemented to the maximum, but there are some standard operating procedures (SOP) that are lacking in its application. Implication: It takes effort from the receptionist to be able to implement maximum check in SOP in order to improve the quality of hotel services.
