The anchors are tensioned by Bulgarian "Stobet" jacks. The jacks, intended for anchors of the machine hall roof, are installed by means of a hoisting platform, and for the walls of the machine hall by means of a hydraulic hoisting crane. At the end of tensioning the anchor the support head is filled with Anticorin by means of a special machine supplied from West Germany. The operations on installing the prestressed anchor end with the injection of grout into the free section of the hole and placing the Anticorin-filled cap on the bearing disk, screw, and nut.Observations of the behavior of the anchors are carried out by means of dynamometers mounted on them. So far minimum changes in the force of tension in the roof and an increase of this force up to 15 tons in certain parts of the walls of the machine hall have been recorded.A check adjustment was carried out one year after tensioning on 12 anchors and four months after tensioning on 13 anchors. The check adjustment showed a good state of the deep anchors. The stressed state of the anchors is retained almost without changes. The "stressstrain" graphs plotted from the measurements during adjustment correspond completely to the graphs of the original tension. The design with respect to adjusting the stress state of the anchors was checked in practice and completely proved correct.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
