The main objective of this research is to analyze the direct and indirect effects of social media and price reduction on vocational college decisions through brand trust. This research was conducted at the Polytechnic Unggul LP3M as a private college in the vocational field. The target population and sample were 275 respondents who were chosen to be the research samples. Media for collecting data used was questionnaire which were distributed and filled directly by 275 respondents. The results show that social media has a direct significant effect on brand trust and vocational college decisions. Price reduction has no direct significant effect on brand trust and college decisions. Brand trust has a direct significant influence on college decisions. Furthermore, social media has an indirect significant influence on college decisions through brand trust. Finally, price reduction does not have an indirect effect on college decisions through brand trust. The implications of the findings in this study indicate that Facebook as a social media is good in building trust of candidate new students in obtaining reliable sources of information in comparing the advantages of one college to another. Then the price reduction makes the candidate new students have negative image due to the quality of education.
Pemberdayaan ekonomi umat Hindu di Desa Duman belum mendapat perhatian optimal, terutama dari aspek permodalan dan penanganan manajemen. Selama ini, daerah setempat masih menggunakan modal sendiri dari warisan yang diperoleh secara turun temurun dengan manajemen yang tak direncanakan dengan baik. Seiring dengan kemajuan ipteks, warisan berupa modal tanah tersebut semakin menyempit dan permasalahan manajerial yang komplek, sehingga kerapkali menimbulkan krisis pada ekonomi umat Hindu. Dalam upaya mengurangi akibat negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh krisis ekonomi umat Hindu, diinisiasi kegiatan pada masyarakat di Banjar Tresna Astiti Karya, Dusun Duman Indah, Desa Duman Kecamatan Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Identifikasi awal menemukan potensi unggulan yaitu beberapa wanita hindu memiliki kemampuan di bidang kerajinan tangan tas dan sokasi anyaman dari bahan tali plastik. Permasalahannya, belum terbentuknya inkubasi kelompok ekonomi produktif. Solusinya,tim pengabdian membentuk kelompok pengrajin wanita yang diwadahi dalam UKM Widya Karya Duman dan diresmikan langsung keberadaannya oleh Kepala Desa Duman. UKM Widya Karya Duman dalam perkembangannya telah mampu memproduksi pesanan tempat penyimpanan dari anyaman (sokasi). Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi embrio program-program lain selanjutnya dan menginspirasi untuk dilakukan penelitian terapan dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat
Banjar Adat merupakan bentuk organisasi paling tua yang dapat dilihat strukturnya dewasa ini, namun keberadaannya semakin tidak poluler akibat kemajuan ipteks serta arus westernisasi dan modernisasi digital yang sulit dibendung. Organisasi banjar adat merupakan penerapan nilai-nilai ajaran dalam kitab arthasastra sehigga bertahan kendati perkembangannya lamban, namun dengan adanya unsur moderasi beragama didalam aspek pengelolaan perubahan banjar adat sesuai kondisi saat ini diharapkan mampu menjawab tantangan arus global yang dahsyat. Peran akademisi menjadi sangat penting, dalam melaksanakan tri dharma perguruan tinggi diharapkan mampu menyelamatkan desa adat melalui modifikasi yang luwes dan diterima oleh generasi era digital yang secara pasti hadir mengelola perubahan.
