Purpose. At present, the efficiency of supply chains significantly depends on the quality of information support of the transportation process. Modern information technologies in transport should provide the ability to quickly place and search for transportation orders, select carriers' offers by rolling stock parameters, price, transportation history, allow the interchange of electronic data between transportation process participants, solve the problems of accounting, analysis and optimization of the transport process. In this regard, a study of the functionality and experience of using information technologies in order to increase the efficiency of rail and road freight transportation in Ukraine was carried out. Methodology. Methods of analysis and synthesis were used to study the basic functionality and experience of using information systems in the organization of freight transportation by rail and road transport in Ukraine. Results. The transport system of Ukraine is characterized by significant volumes of cargo transportation by rail and road. At the same time, there are a lot of information systems and software products on the domestic market that have wide functionality and good practice of using them to solve the problems of organizing transportation and optimizing the transport process. Scientific novelty. The results of the analysis of the functionality and practice of using modern information technologies to provide the freight transportation make it possible to carry out a scientific and economic justification for the choice and application of software products and systems for organizing and improving the efficiency of the transport process. Practical significance. The presented research results can be applied in solving the problems of organizing and optimizing the process of freight transportation by rail and road transport in Ukraine.
Purpose. The article purpose is to analyze and solve the problem of intensification and automation of the graphic part preparing process of the transport infrastructure technical documentation for enterprises and structural divisions of rail and road transport. Methodology. It is important for solving the problem to single out from the numerous factors that affect on the drawing creation duration, those critical operations that take a significant amount of time, and wherein are performed mainly manually. It allows to intensify these operations by replacing the maximum number of manual routine actions with their automated execution. When creating a graphical part of technical documentation for transport objects, such a critical operation is usually the actual process of preparing a number of drawings that require the construction of a large number of graphic elements that can be automated using basic knowledge of the MS Excel, the Autodesk AutoCAD design system, and the MS Word. Results. To illustrate the effectiveness of the intensification and automation of the technical documentation graphic part preparing process, statistical processing of expert estimates of the construction duration of the railway track longitudinal profile with a different number of elements and control points, which should be taken into account when drawing, was performed. Practical significance. Due to significant duration of some drawings creation the use of the described software package allows significantly speed up not only the process of preparing the graphic part of the technical documentation of the transport infrastructure, but also the process of creating an explanatory note.
Purpose. Digitalization of business processes and implementation of transparent and effective electronic services for the provision of administrative services is one of the key state priorities of Ukraine, the realization of which contributes to European integration processes and sustainable development of the country by reducing corruption risks in all sectors of the economy and social sphere. One of the main tasks that arises when solving this problem is the introduction and use of modern information technologies and electronic document management in road transport. In this regard, the paper analyzes the functionality of the existing information systems on the road transport market of Ukraine and considers the procedure for their use in the organization of transportation. Methodology. During the research, methods of analysis and expert evaluation were used to study the main functionality and the order of application of information systems for the organization of road freight transportation. Results. Currently, a number of electronic services and systems, such as Shlyah, eChherga, WiM, have been successfully implemented and operated in Ukraine for the organization of road transport. The e-TTN electronic document management system is at the final stage of implementation. Scientific novelty. The obtained results of the analysis of the functionality and the order of use of modern information systems for the organization of road transportation of goods allow to perform a scientific and economic evaluation of the choice of software products for solving operational logistics problems and improving the efficiency of the transport process. Practical significance. The presented research results can be used to organize and optimize the process of cargo transportation by road transport of Ukraine.
