Barnaul, Russia E-mail: ivbobina@mail.ru Appealability of the population to emergency medical service in Barnaul with the diagnosis of cerebral stroke, depending on type of a stroke, a sex, age, seasons of year and variations of solar and geomagnetic activity is analysed. According to this gender, age and seasonal features of development of the given disease among the population of Barnaul are found. It is revealed that appealability of the population to emergency medical service with the diagnosis of cerebral stroke is bound to rising levels of solar and geomagnetic activity. The greatest number of complaints of the population fall on the period of geomagnetic storms and gales. At the same time development of cerebral strokes in response to action of factors of geomagnetic activity consists of the immediate, delayed and previous response with the different latent periods.
The paper studies the lipid and lipoprotein spectrum in blood serum from Barnaul residents suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus (type 2 diabetes) and cardiovascular diseases (CVD). The authors examined 187 people (98 women and 89 men) with type 2 diabetes and CVD, aged 30-90. All subjects in the blood serum were tested for total cholesterol (TC), cholesterol of low-density lipoprotein (LDLC), very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (VLDLC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC), and triglycerides (TG). The TC, LDLCl, VLDLC, HDLCl, and TG concentration were established on the Konelab automatic analyzer (manufactured by “Thermo Fisher Scientific Oy,” Finland). In the lipid spectrum of blood in women with CVD, the level of TC is above the reference values. A similar situation is observed with TG in the blood in patients with verified diabetes type 2 and CVD. The concentration of LDL cholesterol in the blood of women with cardiovascular pathologies exceeds the norm. The level of HDL cholesterol in men with type 2 diabetes, on the contrary, is below the reference values. There are significant differences in HDL cholesterol content in the blood between men and women with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, a significant difference in the level of TC and LDL-C is established in residents with both pathologies. Lipidogram indices are of prognostic value in CVD development in patients with type 2 diabetes and with cardiovascular pathologies.
<p>The influence of heliogeophysical factors on the clinical and biochemical parameters of pregnant women with easy and complicated births was studied. The influence of the events of the current day and the previous solar and geomagnetic activity on clinical and biochemical parameters of pregnant women with normal and complicated births was revealed. 164 pregnant women aged from 17 to 44 years, living in Barnaul, Altai region, were examined. According to the type of delivery two groups of women were identified:1) women with easy birth (46 people), 2) women with complicated birth (118 people). The following indicators were used to estimate the level of solar and geomagnetic activity: the number of sunspots, the number of Wolff, radiation at a wavelength of 10.7 cm, the average daily magnetic field perturbation (Ap– index), and the local geomagnetic disturbance index (Ak – index). Pregnant women were examined using the following parameters: the number of erythrocytes, leukocytes, blood platelets, leukocyte count, clotting time, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, prothrombin index, hemoglobin, sugar, fibrinogen, bilirubin (direct, indirect and total), total blood protein, and specific gravity. It has been established that the influence of heliogeophysical factors consists of immediate and delayed reactions with different latent periods: among women with normal births the most significant events are the events of the current day, as well as the 3rd, 6th and 7th days before the examination; among women with difficult births - on the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 7th days. Among heliogeophysical factors the average daily disturbance of the Earth's magnetic field has the greatest influence on clinical and biochemical parameters. 60% of the clinical and biochemical parameters analyzed among pregnant women depend on this factor. Clinical and biochemical indicators are less susceptible to heliogeophysical factors among women with complicated births. The coefficient of determination by the factors of solar activity reaches 25% (direct bilirubin) among them; factors of geomagnetic activity - 31.5% (urine protein), whereas in the group of women with normal births the coefficient of determination is 50% (total bilirubin) and 71% (total bilirubin). According to clinical-biochemical indicators 8 types of correlations were found: 1 type – at low level of solar and geomagnetic activity, 4 types – at medium and 3 types at high level. Linear and nonlinear functional dependencies of the indicators on heliogeophysical factors are revealed for each typological group.</p>
I.V. Bobina, E.Yu. Sevryukova RURAL POPULATION HEALTH IN ALTAI KRAI (THE CASE OF KRASNOSHCHYOKOVSKY DISTRICT) Altai State University, Barnaul, Russia E-mail: ivbobina@mail.ruThe assessment of health of rural population within six-year period is carried out. Medico-demographic indicators of health and incidence of the population are analyzed. It is established that the regression type of reproduction of the population was correlated with decrease in total number of the population, high rate of mortality, low birth rate, high decline in population and prevalence of the senior age groups in population structure of this region of Altai Krai. The diseases of cardiovascular system are the leading reasons of mortality of the population.Decrease in level of health of the population was mainly caused by increase of diseases and disability of the population, especially for working-age. The diseases of respiratory system were dominant in childhood and teenage age, while the illness of the blood circulatory system prevail in the senior age groups.
