75 female students of biology aged 18–22 were examined. The indicators of coherence of frequency components of electroencephalography in a quiet state and during solving tasks involving verbal-logical type of thinking, were assessed. The study included two stages: at the first stage, the individual psycho-physiological features of the students were investigated, then, the students investigated were divided into two groups, those with low and those with medium levels of performing tests. Performance of tasks involving verbal-logical thinking, compared with the background state, was characterized by polyrhythmic EEG activity with dominating δ-oscillations and prevailing δ-activity in the frontal area, which indicates their special role in regulation of complicated forms of cognitive activity. With development of ability of verbal-logical thinking, we established the increase in the spectral capacity in the frontal F3, F7, central С3, С4, parietal Р3, Р4 and temporal Т5 leads and increasing of synchronization in α-range in the left frontal zone, in areas near the Vernike zone and in the contour area F4–F8–T4–P4 of the right hemisphere. In the process of solving logical problems, the students with the low level of development of this cognitive ability demonstrated an increase of SC of β1-oscillation in Fp2, Р3, О2 leads, and the students with the medium level of development of logical thinking, on the contrary, demonstrated a reliable decrease in capacity of β1-oscillations in the central С4 and parietal Р4 leads. However, in the most productive students, a considerable number of significant functional connections and high values of coefficients of coherence between frontal F3–F4, F4–C4, central and parietal C3–P3, C4–P3, C4–P4 and occipital O1–O2 leads in the above mentioned EEG range were recorded. The spectral capacity of β2-components of EEG in students with different levels of development of logical thinking varied within background values and decreased in certain sections. The students with the medium level of manifestation of verbal-logical thinking demonstrated synchronization of SC of β2-range between frontal Fp1–Fp2, Fp2–F7, F3–F4 and other C3–C4, O1–T5, T3–T4 leads. While performing the tasks involving logical thinking, the students with low manifestation of this mental ability, did not demonstrate any considerable changes in indicators of SC of the θ-range. However, a reliable increase was established in the Fp1, Fp2, F7 and in О2 leads in the students tested in the group with the medium manifestation of cognitive ability. It should also be noted that with the development of verbal-logical way of thinking, the brain transfers in a special functioning mode with the low functional connection in the area of θ-oscillations, which indicates the preservation of the previously formed neural network. Therefore, in this work, we for the first-time distinguished special features and functional connections during performing verbal, rather than mathematical cognitive logical tasks: localization of loci of interaction at α-frequencies in frontal and central leads of the right hemisphere; β1 – in frontal leads of the left and central right hemisphere, β2 – in frontal and occipital left and in occipital areas of the right hemisphere. It was established that in low-frequency δ- and θ-ranges of EEG, both large cell ensembles, which embrace almost all right hemisphere, and separate sections in frontal, pariental, pariental-occipital locuses of the left hemisphere, are functionally integrated.
Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the mechanisms of regulating physiological maintenance of mental processes and the possibility of Kirlian photography for assessing psychoemotional state with intuitive thinking. While doing the tasks connected with the intuition, the students with the low level of intuitive thinking demonstrated the increase in the degree of filling blood hemoglobin with oxygen (saturation) and the increase in heart systole rate (HSR). The change of the indices of the heart rhythm variability -the mode decrease with the simultaneous increase in the mode amplitude and the vegetative indices -indicates the activation of both sympathetic and central mechanisms of mental processes regulation. The tension index of the regulatory systems (RS) allows us to judge about the mental process activity. The students were in the state of the compensated distress. All indices of the heart rhythm variability of the students with the medium intuition level indicate the central mechanisms of regulating the intuitive thinking processes. The increase in saturation, increased RS on the background of HSR decrease in the students of this group reveals a special functional state connected with the doubled control over the processes. The area of the Kirlian luminescence crown around the right hand forth finger is increased in all students with intuitive thinking. The energetic luminescence degree of the corresponding finger reveals the level of development of this kind of thinking: the higher the level of intuitive thinking, the more the luminescence area. Due to its high sensitivity, the Kirlian method can be applied for revealing the student's individuality that is not identified by the psychological tests.
Basic descriptions of the rats liver microvasculature and its prognostic significance under development of pancreatitis of different severity were determined by arheography method. Increased nitric monoxide content in the rats entails even more pronounced reduction of a tone of the liver’s great vessels. The vessels of medium and small diameter are less influenced and the reductionwasshort-term. Using the rheohepatogramme indices makes possible to determine the disturbance of liver’shaemodynamicsunderthe hepatopathy development.
The increase of external information and the need for processing of large information arrays has been leading to the search for mechanisms of thinking in mental activity, as well as new methods of data protection and reproduction. Power spectrum and coherence of electroencephalograms (EEG) during memorizing of foreign words has been analyzed in many ways: in the usual one with the help of mnemotechnics. The research was conducted during the ovarian phase of the cycle of 11 female students aged 18–20. Registration of EEG activity was carried out according to the international system of H. Jasper,"10–20". The process of recollection of associative information led to the decrease in the power spectrum of the EEG in the alpha range in the frontal and temporal loci of the left hemisphere and the prefrontal sections of both hemispheres, in the beta range it was probable only in T6 zone of beta2 range, in the delta range it was in the prefrontal, posterior lower-frontal and posttemporal loci of both hemispheres, in the central, parietal and occipital regions of the left hemisphere, as well as in the anteriofrontal zone of the right hemisphere, in the theta-range – in the prefrontal and posterior lower-frontal regions of both hemispheres and in the posttemporal and occipital loci of the left hemisphere. Synchronization in the delta range is the reflection of the processes of figural information processing and manipulation. With the increase of attention concentration, the synchronization was observed in the theta range in the anteriofrontal and F4–P4 zones. Interhemispheric functional and symmetrical bonds in the alpha and beta ranges indicate the involvement of the corpus callosum in the process of memorizing foreign words, which facilitates their faster, more correct and easier reproduction, especially with the use of associative images. The decrease of power spectrum in the delta and theta ranges showed that less effort was required to reproduce associative information than to mention unsupported images of foreign words. The effective use of the association method is realized by reduction of the power spectrum of the waves in the alpha range in the frontal and temporal loci of the left hemisphere and the prefrontal sections of both hemispheres, which indicates the activation of mental activity in these zones in the processes of maintaining and reproducing associative information.
