Equilibria E 4000Phase Equilibria in the Cu 2 S-ZnS-SnS 2 System. -The quasi-ternary title system is studied by DTA and X-ray phase and microstructure analysis methods. The liquidus surface projection and the 670 K isothermal section are constructed. The existence of the quaternary compound Cu2ZnSn3S8 is detected and that of Cu2ZnSnS8 is confirmed. The compounds are analogous to the natural minerals rhodostannine, Cu 2 FeSn 3 S 8 , and stannine, Cu 2 FeSnS 8 , respectively. Their tetragonal lattice parameters are given. -(OLEKSEYUK, I.
