The purpose of this study was to determine the stages of creating a group tourist monitoring application using Firebase Realtime Database. Foreign tourists tend to visit Bali in groups and choose tour packages offered by the travel. During a tour at a tourist site, tourists are often too far away from the group and are confused to go back to search for a group or tour leader. One way to overcome this problem is to utilize information technology by building a mobile-based application This application is intended for tourists who visit the place of tour in groups (group tour). Before starting the tour, every tourist will be lent a smart phone. In the smart phone there are android-based applications that send GPS coordinates, timing and identity code of tourists to the cloud server simultaneously. In this application is also given the facility "panic" is a facility that can be used by member group tourist to send a sign of confusion to their tour leader. Tour leader can see all the positions of his group members through the mobile device screen equipped with google map. This application is designed by using UML diagrams and using real-time firebase database. The test results of this application, show tour leader easier to monitor the movement of members of the tour group. Tour group members are also easier to see his own position and see the position of all his group tour.
Selection technique is an important operator in genetic algorithm (GA). Defining the best selection technique is critical in order to get the optimum solution for certain problem. The purpose of this study was to compare 3 selection techniques in high school scheduling problem using distributed GA (DGA). The selection techniques implemented in this study were roulette wheel, tournament and truncation selection. The migration probabilities used in DGA was 0.5. The results showed that the best selection method in avoiding early convergence is the tournament method
Penelitian ini fokus pada merancang dan membuat struktur realtime database firebase untuk aplikasi monitoring pergerakan wisatawan. Firebase merupakan salah satu cloud database yang memang didesain untuk cloud application. Database Firebase mengutamakan waktu akses data. Aplikasi ini berbasis android yang melibatkan banyak user didalamnya. Sehingga membutuhkan struktur database yang kokoh untuk menopang aplikasi ini supaya dapat berjalan secara optimal. Data yang disimpan di sisi server adalah data latitude dan longitude dari posisi wisatawan. Data posisi latitude dan longitude ini diperoleh dari Satelite GPS melalui permintaan posisi dari masing – masing smartphone wisatawan. Aktor utama dalam aplikasi ini adalah tour leader(guide) dan anggota group wisatawan (guest). Database yang dibangun melibatkan 2 node besar yaitu node “Guide” dan node “ChatGroup” dimana sebelumnya telah melalui proses perataan struktur database. Proses pembuatan struktur model data firebase, juga perlu memperhatikan bagaimana data tersebut disajikan dalam antar muka user sehingga waktu akses data menjadi lebih optimal.
