An analytical review is given of industrially produced biodegradable polymeric materials.

Investigation of the electrophysical properties of liquiddispersed systems is the scientific basis for the development of materials with a combination of controllable properties, to be used, in particular, for electronics, instrument making, and medical equipment.

A brief review is given of modern trends in the use of high-molecular-weight compounds for the development of packaging materials for foodstuffs. Types of packaging material and their properties and areas of application are examined.
