Pendidikan agama Islam merupakan sesuatu yang sangat penting dalam pembentukan karakter seseorang. Bimbingan dan arahannya adalah ajaran agama yang ditujukan agar manusia mempercayai dengan sepenuh hati akan adanya Tuhan, patuh dan tunduk melaksanakan perintah-Nya dalam bentuk beribadah, dan berakhlak mulia. Dengan mempelajari pendidikan agama Islam, diharapkan seseorang dapat memiliki nilai yang baik dalam diri, sehingga dapat ditranslasikan ke dalam tingkah laku perbuatannya sehari-hari. Selain itu pendidikan agama Islam juga dapat menjauhkan seseorang untuk melakukan hal yang bathil. Penerapan Pendidikan Islam dilakukan dengan peningkatan taqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan akhlak mulia adalah manifestasi dari keimanan yang diyakini setiap orang. Oleh karena itu keimanan dan ketaqwaan yang menyatu pada diri seseorang akan menghindarkan dari perbuatan-perbuatan yang bersifat merusak, fitnah, dan membahayakan masyarakat serta sangat berbahaya bagi persatuan dan kesatuan masa depan bangsa
Kurikulum sangat berarti dalam dunia pendidikan, karena merupakan operasionalisasi tujuan yang dicita-citakan, bahkan tujuan tidak akan tercapaitanpa melibatkan kurikulum pendidikan. Kurikulum merupakan komponen pokok dalam pendidikan dan merupakan sistem yang mempunyai komponen-komponen tertentu.Kurikulum adalah suatu program pendidikan yang berisikan berbagai bahan ajar dan pengalaman belajar yang diprogramkan, direncanakan secara sistemikatas dasar norma-norma yang berlaku yang dijadikan pedoman dalam proses pembelajaran bagi tenaga kependidikan dan peserta didik untuk mencapaitujuan pendidikan.Secara umum ciri kurikulum pendidikan Islam merupakan pencerminan nilai-nilai Islami yang diperoleh dari hasil pemikiran kefilsafatan dan dipraktekkandalam semua kegiatan kependidikan. Pengembangan kurikulum pada dasarnya adalah mengarahkan kurikulum sekarang ke tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan karena berbagai pengaruh yang sifatnya positif yang datangnya dari luar atau dari dalam sendiri, dengan harapan agar peserta didik dapat menghadapi masa depannya dengan baik.Kurikulum pendidikan Islam bersifat menyeluruh yang mencerminkan semangat pemikiran dan ajaran Islam yang bersifat universal dan menjangkau semuaaspek kehidupan, baik intelektual, psikologis,social, dan spiritual.
Character education in higher education aims to improve the quality of implementation and educational outcomes that lead to the achievement of the formation of the character and noble character of students as a whole, integrated and balanced according to graduate competency standards. Through character education, students are expected to be able to independently improve and use their knowledge, study and internalize character values so that they are manifested in daily behavior. The implementation of character education has its own problems, namely the existence of unsynchronization between the concepts of character education, which aims to restore the culture and character of the nation which is increasingly deteriorating with the reality faced. Character education in higher education is everything done by a lecturer, able to influence the character of students. This includes many things about the exemplary of a lecturer be it behavior, speech, tolerance, integrity and others related to character. The campus environment as an escort institution for character building for students, has potentials that will contribute to the processes, so synergy is needed together in coaching from all campus residents. In teaching character building, lecturers can integrate it naturally with the standard curriculum or teach it in tandem with the standard curriculum. All lecturers in all subjects should be figures who practice the formation of this character in all activities in the classroom and outside the classroom.
Islamic religious education is one of the main components in shaping the character and personality of the nation. In this digital era 4.0 where particular communication has become universal, Islamic religious education must be able to become a spirit that directs technology so that it is always useful in human life. This study aims to find ways to integrate Islamic religious education with science and technology that can improve the character building of the nation. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method that describes the current conditions of Islamic religious education learning and its relation to the nation's character building. The result of this research is that Islamic religious education should not be monolithic but must be integrated with non-religious subjects as well as science and technology so that today's young generation are willing and interested in studying religion well and Islamic religious education can be of value. which colors every skill and profession of Indonesian citizens, so that the morals and morals of the nation develop well according to the example of the Prophet Muhammad and aspired to by the state.
The object of this study is the religious attitude and character of students in junior high schools. The purpose of this study is to understand and explore the relationship between Islamic Religious Education with student's character, the level of discipline with student's character, and Islamic education and the level of discipline with student character. The scope of this study is the character of students in school, and student's religious practice. This study uses quantitative analysis based on primary data or survey data at MTs Al_Whatoniyah 20, Bekasi. The findings in this study are that there is a positive relationship between Islamic education and student character at MTs Al-Whatoniyah 20, Bekasi. One increasing index in Islamic Education is associated with an increase of 0.93 in the student character index in Mts Al_Whatoniyah 20 Bekasi. Besides, the value of discipline also has a strong positive relationship with their character. For every one index that rises in the discipline index is also associated with an increase in 1,006 index in the character of students in MTs Al_Whatoniyah 20 Bekasi. The Islamic Education index and the discipline index also simultaneously have a positive relationship with the student character index at MTs Al_Whatoniyah 20 Bekasi.
