We investigate the parameters of pseudo-random number generator based on fuzzy logic (FRNG) and select the best one. The first parameter is the "size of buffer", the second parameter is the "number of membership functions for fuzzy variables in FRNG". These parameters play essential role for the FRNG and directly influence to the randomness of the output binary sequence. We investigate FRNG's parameters by generating pseudo-random binary sequences and testing them with using NIST test suite. We compare final FRNG with Matlab random generator and 16 random generators form Diehard bundle.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
