Insurance and reinsurance companies are required, to maintain a sound financial standing and comply with the provisions on the companies equity as stipulated by the government. To achieve such equity, the companies must retain their profitability. Under a supervision system supported by the audit committee, internal auditor and external auditor, it is expected that the insurance companies shall be able to fulfill their obligation in complying with all the prevailing regulations. If these companies fail to do so, the companies shall be subject to the supervision by the government. This study was conducted on insurance and reinsurance companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2012 (11 companies). Thirty eight high officials of the top management of the companies were interviewed as respondents. By applying the SPSS program the results showed that there are significant relations among the audit committee, the internal and external auditor in supervising the operations of the insurance companies. There is a positive correlation between the audit committee and the internal auditor; and there is a positive correlation between the audit committee and the external auditor whereas there is also a positive correlation between the internal auditor and the external auditor. Simultaneous influence of the audit committee, the internal audit and the external audit shows a positive effect on the financial soundness. However, external audit has only partial influence on the financial soundness. The simultaneous influence of audit committee, audit internal, audit external and financial soundness shows a significant effect on the profitability. The partial influence on each independent variabel (mentioned above) has a significant effect on the profitability.Key words: audit committee, internal auditor, external auditor, financial soundness, profitability, insurance companies, reinsurance companies.Abstrak: Perusahaan asuransi dan reasuransi berkewajiban untuk menjaga tingkat kesehatan keuangan dan memenuhi ketentuan tentang ekuitas yang dipersyaratkan pemerintah. Untuk mencapai kondisi ekuitas tersebut, perusahaan dapat meningkatkan profitabiltas. Melalui sistem supervisi yang didukung fungsi komite audit, audit internal dan audit eksternal diharapkan perusahaan perasuransian memenuhi kewajibannya. Apabila tidak, perusahaan tersebut akan berada dibawah pengawasan pemerintah. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan asuransi dan reasuransi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2012 (11 perusahaan). Diperoleh 38 pejabat tinggi perusahaan (top management) sebagai responden. Dengan program SPSS diperoleh hasil bahwa komite audit, audit internal dan audit eksternal mempunyai hubungan dalam melaksanakan pengawasan atas kegiatan operasional perusahaan tersebut yaitu antara komite audit dengan audit internal terdapat hubungan positif, antara komite audit dengan audit eksternal terdapat hubungan positif, dan antara audit internal dengan audit

Stakeholders in C2C e-marketplace in order to optimize the category of groceries. One way to do this is through customer equity management. Therefore, it is very important to conduct research on the analysis of customer equity, customer loyalty in the context of c2c e-marketplace in Indonesia (study in the product groceries category) which aims to partially determine the effect of brand equity, value equity and relationship equity on trust and customer loyalty and the influence of trust on customer loyalty. The design of this study uses an explanatory approach. The data analysis technique uses structural equation model (SEM) and sampling is limited to certain criteria (purposive sampling). This study used 200 respondents. The results of this study show that there is a partial influence of brand equity and value equity on constructs of trust and customer loyalty. Meanwhile, relationship equity has a direct effect on trust, but not on customer loyalty. Trust affects consumer loyalty. Companies must focus on rewarding systems through cash back reward programs, virtual loyalty cards, incentive programs, and virtual communities that have been proven to be able to increase customer loyalty.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi dan insentif terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian dilakukan di PT Avrist Assurance, dengan menggunakan 211 karyawan sebagai responden.Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara acak sederhana. Analisis dilakukan dengan Structural Equation Model (SEM) menggunakan Lisrel 8.5. Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antarabudaya organisasi dan insentif terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan, serta pengaruh yang signifikan antarakepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pengaruh total budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan lebih dominan daripada pengaruh total insentif terhadap kepuasan kerja dankinerja karyawan.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture and incentive on job satisfaction and employees’ performance. The study was conducted in PT Avrist Assurance, using 211 employees as respondents. The sampling technique in this research is simple random. The analysis was performed with Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Lisrel 8.5. The study found that organizational culture and incentives significantly affect job satisfaction and employees’ performance. Moreover, job satisfaction significantly affect employees’ performance. The total effect of organizational culture on Job Satisfaction and employee performance is more dominant than the total effect of incentives on Job Satisfaction and employee performance.
Pengaruh word of mouth dan switching cost terhadap keputusan pembelian dan loyalitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui pengaruh word of mouth dan switching cost terhadap keputusan pembelian dan loyalitas, serta pengaruh keputusan pembelian terhadap loyalitas. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pelanggan Meat Me Café & Butchery di Jakarta. Responden sebanyak 200 pelanggan yang dipilih secara acak. Data diolah dengan SEM, program AMOS 21. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa word of mouth dan switching cost berpengaruh masing-masing terhadap keputusan pembelian dan loyalitas, serta keputusan pembelian berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas. Jalur word of mouth dan switching cost memberikan dukungan yang sama terhadap keputusan pembelian, dan loyalitas.
