In this research the new starting material 2-mercapto-5-methoxy-1H-benzimidazole (S1) was synthesized by the condensation reaction of 4-methoxy-o-phenylenediamine and (1mmol) and carbon disulfide (1 mmol) in ethanol (10 mL) under basic condition we used potassium hydroxide as base which produced MBI with high yield and purity. 2-mercapto-6-methoxy-1H-benzimidazole(S1), which on treatment with hydrazinehydrate in ethanol yielded hydrazino-6-methoxy-2-mercapto benzothiazole (S2).Condensation of compound (S2) with 4-(N,N-di Methylbenzaldehyde yielded 4-[(N,N-di Methyl bezylidine) hydrazino)]- 6-methoxy -2-mercaptobenzothiazole (S3).The synthesized compounds were identified according to their physical properties, spectroscopic data (FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR) The study showed three chemical compounds test S1, S2, and S3 to three concentration (100, 200, 300) mg/L.in inhibiting colony diameter of three phytopathoginc fungi Fusarium oxysporum fsp.watermilon,Macro phomina phasiolina and Rhizoctonia solani these compounds effectiveness of inhibition of S1 and to three concentrations of the high against growth of fungi, with an inhibitory rate of 89.39% While S2 was less effective at inhibition of 33.89%.
The research included synthesis of 2-mercapto benzoxazole (MBO) (1) ) from the reaction of ortho hydroxyl aniline with carbon disulfide in ethanolic potassium hydroxide. The hydrazine benzoxazole HMBA2 (2) was synthesized from the reaction of compound MBO (1) with hydrazine hydrate in presence of alcohol. Compounds (3(a- e)) were synthesized by condensate on of substituted Benzaldehydes with 2-Hydrazino benzoxazole HMBA2. The Ethyl2-(benzoxazolylthio) acetate EMBA1 (4) obtained from the reaction of compound MBO (1) with solution of ethyl chloro acetate using KOH alcoholic .Finally the compound hydrazide HMBA(5 (a- e)) was synthesized from the reaction of compound (4) with hydrazine hydrate in presence of alcohol .All these synthesized compounds were characterized on the basis of their 1H-NMR ,IR, The study is Showed biological activity for chemical compounds, at three concentration 100, 200, 300 ppm in toxic potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) medium method against phytopathogenic fungi three species Fusariumgraminarium, Sclerotiniasclerotium and Rhizoctoniasolani, its isolation on nutritious PDA medium from root plants wheat ,eggplant and cotton continually, diameter measure of fungi growth colony result showed all compound growth inhibition barring MMBA compound non effective inhibition its, appear MBO moral superiority after bring HMBA2 both induce inhibition amount 49.69 and 34.22% continually. Compound concentration its average effect result reveal third significant superior on first and second concentration, interference effect concentration and species chemical compound notice higher inhibition amount 100%with third concentration MBO compound all test its fungi .
This the research includes synthesis of some new derivatives of 2-mercapto benzimidazole (N 1), the compound (N 1), prepared by reaction of o-phenylene diamine with carbon disulfide in alcoholic potassium hydroxide. Then the compound (N1) was treated with hydrazine hydrate in ethanol to give 2-hydrazinobenzimidazole (N 2).A Number of hydrazones (N 3-N 10) were synthesized from the reaction of compound (N 2) with various substituted benzaldehydes (aceto phenone) gave hydrazone compounds(N 3-N 10).Substituted compounds(N 11-N 12) , compound (N 13) , compounds(N 14-N 16) ,compounds (N 17-N 18),Were synthesized from cyclization of hydrazones (N 3-N 10) using chloro acetic acid or tri chloro acetic acid or thio glycolic acid or chloro acetyl chloride respectively. The synthesized compounds were identified according to their physical properties, spectroscopic data (IR and 1 H-NMR) in addition to systematic identification of some active functional groups in these compounds. .
