This paper presents the results of experimental channel measurements for 60 GHz WLAN systems in application to the office docking scenario proposed in IEEE 802.11ay. The experimental results are obtained for the practical Phased Antenna Array (PAA) and Sector Level Sweep (SLS) beamforming protocol defined in IEEE 802.11ad standard. The measured channel statistical properties are analyzed and compared to the IEEE 802.11ad channel model for cubicle environment. Root Mean Square (RMS) delay spread of the channel in time domain and notch depth statistics in frequency domain are analyzed. Additionally, Packet Error Rate (PER) performance is estimated for the Single Carrier (SC) PHY layer defined in the IEEE 802.11ad standard over the measured channels and IEEE 802.11ad model.
