Dealer Era Motor Tambun Yamaha adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang penjualan berbagai jenis sepeda motor yamaha. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi gudang adalah banyaknya suku cadang yang tidak tertampung dalam slotnya, jenis suku cadang yang sama ditempatkan di lebih dari satu lokasi, dan tidak adanya lokasi penyimpanan permanen, sehingga karyawan seringkali kesulitan dalam mencari suku cadang yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan perbaikan tata letak suku cadang. Suku cadang yang disimpan akan ditempatkan di lokasi permanen untuk memperlancar proses penyimpanan dan pengambilan suku cadang dari gudang dengan cara menjaga area gudang yang ada dengan menggunakan metode Dedicated Storage sehingga pemanfaatan area penyimpanan di gudang menjadi lebih optimal. Penempatan didasarkan pada perbandingan aktivitas tiap bagian dengan kebutuhan spasial yang dibutuhkan oleh bagian tersebut. Jadi, sebenarnya berapa luas sebenarnya yang dibutuhkan gudang suku cadang bisa diketahui. Dengan adanya desain blok baru dengan metode penyimpanan khusus diharapkan dapat meminimalkan suku cadang menempati lokasi permanen sehingga memudahkan karyawan dalam menyimpan dan mengambil suku cadang, sehingga arus keluar-masuk suku cadang menjadi lancar. Lebih lanjut, dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa rasio luas blok meningkat menjadi 88,8% dari luas blok saat ini yang hanya 55,5%. Selain itu didapat juga desain blok baru ukuran 10x2x3 meter dan desain layout dengan total luas lantai bekas 176 meter dengan total jarak tempuh 50 meter / hari.
Sabang waters is one of the centers of capture fisheries production at the tip of the Sumatera Island which has a large potential of fish resources. However, information related to the performance of capture fisheries including fish production, fishing gear, fishing fleet, number of fishermen and fishing areas is still limited. This study aims to analyse and describe information related to capture fisheries performances in the waters of Sabang. Performance data were analysed descriptive quantitatively and obtained by survey method. The results showed that the trend of capture fisheries production tends to increase by 15% annually and catches are dominated by large pelagic fish, namely tuna (Thunnus sp). The type of fishery business is dominated by fishermen who operate vessels measuring 0 - 5 GT (57.9%) with fishing areas between the coast to 2 nautical miles. Water bikes can be used as one of the vehicles in water tourism areas such as Ulee Lheue. Water bikes are used as a medium for surface transportation and fishing. Of course, this can increase the enthusiasm of those who visit the tourist destination of Ulee Lheue on weekends and holidays. High enthusiasm can increase the number of tourists, which increases income and sustains the economy of people around Ulee Lheue. Personal watercraft are constructed using fibrous pins or floats, using propeller drives, and using bicycle frames, usually modified. The steering wheel has a plate at the front and is designed to control the direction of rotation (left and right). A good community economy is expected to deliver the goodness of the community itself. Therefore, watercraft manufacturing activities must be carried out in Ulee Lheue. The implementation of this activity takes place in his two phases of implementing the activity, including creating the water bike design and manufacturing the water bike frame. The existence of water bikes can be used as an alternative to water tourism like Ulee Lheue. Water bikes are used as a medium for surface transportation and fishing. Of course, this can increase the enthusiasm of the community to visit her Ulee Lheue, a tourist destination. The horseshoe crab has the important roles as macrobenthos, but it is unfriendly for gillnets fisheries because it can damage the fishing net. The horseshoe crab is an ancient, rare, and protected animal so that the fishermen unable to utilize it, so the effort like mitigations need to be conducted like using red light LED. To avoid the learning behavior of horseshoe crab, so that the technology used is red light LED continuous then the red light led with flicker is used as a comparison. This study aims to determine the right type of red-light LED for horseshoe crab bycatch mitigation by the response pattern. The method used was a laboratory experiment. There are 20 adult horseshoe crabs used. The analysis used was descriptively comparative. The results showed that the red-light LED with flicker was most avoided by horseshoe crabs, which is 75%, while the fastest response of horseshoe crab in avoiding light was found in the light with a flicker effect of 22.97 seconds. Based on the horseshoe crab’s response, it can be concluded that the red LED light flicker is better than the red LED continuous as an alternative technology for the mitigation of horseshoe crab bycatch.
