The purpose of this study are (1) to know the commitment of the holy kalam Christian primary school principals in quality assurance, (2) to prepare the accreditation of the holy kalam Christian primary school, and (3) the implementation and follow-up of the results of the accreditation of the holy kalam christian elementary school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research in data collection using interview techniques, observation and literature study, with key informant is the principal. The data analysis technique used is reduction, display and conclusions. The findings in this study are (1) the form of commitment carried out by the principal in order to maintain quality is done in various ways including optimizing the performance of the school's internal quality assurance system team, (2) there are at least 3 aspects that are prepared in implementing school accreditation, namely aspects of facilities and infrastructure (sarpras), administration, and preparation for the implementation of visitation, and (3) follow-up to improve school quality, the results and accreditation recommendations obtained are taken into consideration by schools in the framework of making policies for improving school quality, as well as improving school facilities and infrastructure. technology-based to support education and learning activities in schools.
<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The research was conducted (1) to describe transformational leadership, organizational communication, organizational commitment, and teacher performance; (2) to determine the direct and indirect relationship between principal transformational leadership, organizational communication, organizational commitment, teacher performance. This subject in this research was 207 PNS teachers in SMKN Kota Malang. Researcher used quantitative methods which was descriptive and correlational. Researcher distributed 107 questions of questionnaires. The results showed that (1) transformational leadership, organizational communication, organizational commitment was high, meanwhile teacher performance was higher, (2) there was a positive and significant direct and indirect relationship in the variables studied, except the transformational leadership of principals wirh teacher performance.</p><strong>Abstrak:<em> </em></strong>Penelitian ini dilakukan (1) untuk mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, komunikasi organisasi, komitmen organisasi, dan kinerja guru; (2) untuk mengetahui hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung antara kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, komunikasi organisasi, komitmen organisasi, dan kinerja guru. Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 207 guru PNS di Kota Malang. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif bersifat deskriptif dan korelasional. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yakni (1) kepemimpinan transformasional, komunikasi organisasi, komitmen organisasi termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, sedangkan kinerja guru sangat tinggi, (2) adanya hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung positif dan signifikan pada variabel yang diteliti, kecuali pada variabel kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru.
Vocabulary is an essential part in learning English. The common problems in learning English might be caused of the students were lack of vocabulary. The aimed of the study was to solve the problems by using riddles game. The researcher used Classroom Action Research as the research design. There were four stages in one cycle in which planning the action, implementing the action, observing the action, and reflecting on the action. One cycle of this research that consisted of three meetings. The subject of the study was 7 H class. The researcher used the research instruments such as interview guide, questionnaire, observation checklist, field notes and test. The criterion of success in which 70% of the students passed the minimum score that was 80. The average score of post-test was 93,54% students passed the criterion of success. Based on the post questionnaire, the students felt interested during learning process and the students' vocabulary mastery was improved. The researcher suggested to English teacher to use riddles game as an alternative technique in teaching vocabulary, to students could apply this game out of the class, and the researcher hopes other researchers can use riddles game as a reference to conduct their research on the field because riddles game is the effective way to teach vocabulary.
The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the EFL training program in increasing the professionalism of teachers by using Deming’s concept. The method used was descriptive qualitative. Data collection used interview methods and documentation. The researcher used the Deming cycle, namely PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act). Plan, the school principal identified the problems that occur through School Self Evaluation. Then, the principal made a draft about the provision of training and the criteria to be achieved. Do, the principal in collaboration with supervisors in determining the type of training needed was tailored to the needs. Check, the principal evaluated and monitored the training program. Act, the principal evaluated and followed up on training. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini (1) Mendesripsikan tingkat kepemimpinan visioner, komunikasi internal, dan komitmen guru; (2) Pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner terhadap komitmen guru; (3) Pengaruh komunikasi internal terhadap komitmen guru; dan (4) Pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner dan komunikasi internal terhadap komitmen guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian bersifat deskriptif korelasional. Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang guru PNS SMKN 2 Kota Batu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji analisis jalur dengan bantuan SPSS versi 24.0. Hasil penelitian ini yakni (1) Kepemimpinan visioner termasuk dalam kategori rendah, komunikasi internal sangat tinggi, dan komitmen guru tinggi (2) Tidak ada pengaruh antara kepemimpinan visioner yang signifikan dengan komitmen guru yakni nilai Sig 0,2880,05, (3) Ada pengaruh antara yang signifikan pada komunikasi internal terhadap komitmen guru yakni nilai Sig. 0,0130,05. (4) Ada pengaruh antara kepemimpinan visioner dan komunikasi internal secara simultan yang signifikan terhadap komitmen guru yakni nilai Sig. 0,0120,05. Sedangkan, besar variabel lain diluar variabel yang diteliti yakni 0,787.
