Salah satu langkah perwujudan konsep Eco Cultural City Kota Surakarta dilakukan dengan adanyaupaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH), khususnya padakawasan permukiman padat. Pengembangan RTH pada permukiman kepadatan tinggi menjadifenomena menarik untuk diteliti yang kemudian diangkat menjadi pertanyaan penelitian (researchquestion) yaitu: bagaimana konsep pengembangan RTH pada permukiman kepadatan tinggi?. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun konsep pengembangan RTH pada permukiman kepadatan tinggi.Adapun sasaran dalam penelitian ini antara lain mengkaji karakteristik permukiman kepadatan tinggi,mengkaji karakteristik RTH permukiman kepadatan tinggi, menganalisis tipologi RTH permukimankepadatan tinggi, dan menganalisis pengembangan RTH permukiman kepadatan tinggi dalam konsephuman settlement. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Konseppengembangan RTH dalam konsep human settlement diarahkan dalam pencapaian elemen nature(alam) dan elemen society (masyarakat) pada masing-masing tipologi RTH yang terbentuk. Salah satubentuk konsep pengembangan RTH dilakukan dengan mengoptimalkan lahan melalui media tanamberupa pot-pot tanaman.Kata kunci: konsep pengembangan RTH, permukiman kepadatan tinggi
Along with the increase in tourist destinations, hotels also increase, ranging from cheap to expensive ones. The promotion of the hotel was well done. However, the low quality of service resulted in the hotel losing guests. Excellence in the hospitality promotion sector is part of the hotel industry's success. For Muslim-majority countries, one of the influential factors in hotel selection is the Halal brand. This study aims to investigate the effect of Sharia-based hospitality hotels on competitive advantage and tourists' revisiting interest. This study uses the method of the Structural Equation Model (SEM). There were 140 respondents consisting of guests, staff, and managers of Shariah hotels in West Java, Indonesia. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. Hypothetical testing results showed that Shariah-based hospitality hotels significantly affect competitive advantage and tourists' revisiting interest. The competitive advantage significantly affects tourists' revisiting interests. Shariah-based hotel hospitality's creativity and innovation create superior competitiveness and foster interest in staying again. Shariah hotel marketing is not just advertising in digital media but also paying attention to customer feedback.
The concept of economic growth that has increased social welfare needs to be expanded in terms of its meaning and benchmarks. It focuses not only on economic activities but also on how they impact all of society in the present and the future. This study aims to analyze Indonesia’s inclusive green growth in 2015 and 2019. The method used to obtain the analysis is the Inclusive Green Growth Index (IGGI), conducted by Asian Development Bank (ADB). IGGI is a composite index consisting of three pillars: economic growth, social equity, and environmental sustainability. The study showed that Indonesia’s inclusive green growth was getting better where its average score in 2015 was 3.21, increasing to 3.36 in 2019. However, the improvement is not ideal yet because its mainly influenced by the economic growth pillar. In contrast, the average score of the environmental sustainability pillar declined from 4.19 in 2015 to 4.00 in 2019, accompanied by the decreasing social equity pillar score in 15 out of 34 provinces. All Efforts to achieve a better-balanced IGGI are improving and maintaining environmental quality, improving access to economic and political activities, improving public service and infrastructure in various provinces, and increasing superior and potential sectors to pursue economic disparity inter-provincial.
The study examined the job preferences of coastal communities between the fisheries sector, traditional textile industry (Batik printing) or other sectors in the Wonokerto-Pekalongan District, Indonesia. Data collected based on interviews with informants were analysed with Atlas Ti software to build triangulation from qualitative data. The results indicated that the coastal communities prefer to work in other sectors because it is more formal and stable compared to the fisheries sector.Keywords: Atlas Ti, Batik, Fisheries, Job selection, Pekalongan
