The high prevalence of anemia can be influenced by the behavior of wayward mother taking iron suplementation. The research objective determine the impact of health education on attitude of consuming iron suplementation. Designstudy is Quasi Experiment with pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design.The sample was 58 with consecutive sampling technique.Analysis used Mann-Whitney and multiple regression for multivariable analysis. The results showed after intervention, then there is increased behavior with p= 0.005 (p<0.05). External variables is education with p <0.05. The conclusions are the effect of health education on attitude of consuming iron suplementation anemia in pregnant women.
ABSTRAKBirthing ball merupakan salah satu metode active birth menggunakan bola pilates yang membantu ibu inpartu kala I. Penggunaan bola pilates dengan melakukan gerakan seperti duduk dibola dan bergoyang-goyang, membuat kemajuan persalinan, memberikan rasa nyaman dan, serta meningkatkan sekresi endoprin disebabkan kelenturan dan kelengkungan bola merangsang reseptor dipanggul. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang birth ball. Metode yang digunakan antara lain ceramah/penyampaian materi menggunakan leaflet, praktikum atau pelatihan langsung kepada peserta serta tanya jawab guna mendukung pengetahuan ibu tentang terapi birthing ball. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian dibuktikan dengan keaktifan peserta dalam kegiatan ini, pelaksanaan kegiatan telah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu bersalin dalam mengurangi nyeri pada kala I persalinan, dapat mengelola rasa nyeri saat kontraksi dan ketidaknyaman ibu seperti rasa cemas berlebih dan mengelola pernafasan serta dapat mengurangi sakit punggung, sesak nafas. Hasil kegiatan ini sangat berdampak positif pada proses persalinan ibu yang lahir dengan normal atau pervaginam tanpa adanya intervensi dilakukan tindakan Sectio Caesaria. The purpose of this community service is to provide counseling and training about birth balls. The methods used include lectures/delivery of material using leaflets, practicum or direct training to participants and questions and answers to support mother's knowledge about birthing ball therapy. The results of the service activities are evidenced by the activeness of the participants in this activity, the implementation of the activities has been able to increase the knowledge of maternity mothers in reducing pain in the first stage of labor, can manage pain during contractions and maternal discomfort such as excessive anxiety and manage breathing and can reduce back pain, out of breath. The results of this activity have a very positive impact on the delivery process for mothers who are born normally or vaginally without any intervention by performing Sectio Caesaria. Background: Child marriage is a significant problem millions of girls face every year. During the period of 2015 – 2018, the increase and decrease in prevalence at the provincial level varied in magnitude. There are 11 provinces that experience marriage for the first time in less than 18 years. One of them is the Province of Nusa Tenggara by 15.48%. The purpose of this research is to observe the factors affecting the incidence of child marriage.Method: This is a quantitative research using secondary data from the Survey of Program Accountability and Performance (SKAP) in West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia as many as 1,292 women of childbearing age. Independent variables included age, education level, occupation, and area of residence; while dependent variable referred to child marriage.Results: There was a significant relationship between age and 95% CI = 1.151-1.754 (p = 0.00), education level and 95% CI = 1.997-3.111, (p = 0.00), employment status and 95% CI = 0.564- 0.895, (p = 0.00), information exposure and 95% CI = 1.178-2.672, (p = 0.00), on the incidence of child marriage. Respondents not attending school had a 2.4 times risk of child marriage, while information exposure has a chance of child marriage, as indicated by a prevalence ratio of 1.7. The area of residence did not have a significant relationship with child marriage with 95% CI = 0.821-1.305, (p = 0.76). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between age, education level, employment status, and information exposure to child marriage. The area of residence did not have a significant relationship with child marriage. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the knowledge of women of childbearing age by providing education such as counseling about the impacts of child marriage.
Back pain during pregnancy is caused by changes in anatomical and hormonal structures. Anatomical changes occur because the role of the spine which is getting heavier to balance the body due to the enlargement of the uterus and fetus. Another cause is an increase in the relaxin hormone which causes the spinal ligaments to be unstable so that it is easy to clamp blood vessels and nerve fibers. This study was conducted by applying prenatal gentle yoga. Yoga movements were carried out for 60 minutes so as to reduce low back pain that is often experienced by pregnant women in the II and III trimesters. This was a Quasi-Experimental study with one group non-equivalent pre-test post-test design. The study samples of 30 women in the II and III trimesters of pregnancy who experienced back pain were selected through total sampling technique. The study was conducted from March to May 2022. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in the mean value before and after being given prenatal gentle yoga intervention in reducing low back pain among women in the II and III trimesters of pregnancy, with a p-value of 0.000<0.005. It is recommended that prenatal gentle yoga can be implemented among pregnant women since yoga movements can help pregnant women in managing breathing, preparing for the delivery process and can reduce the symptoms of complaints that are often experienced by pregnant women.
Kehamilan adalah masa dimulai dari konsepsi sampai lahirnya janin. Lamanya hamil normal adalah 280 hari (40 minggu atau 9 bulan) dihitung dari hari pertama haid terakhir. Aktivitas fisik dapat meningkatkan kebugaran pada jantung, pernafasan, mengurangi resiko obesitas dan memperpanjang harapan hidup. Aktivitas fisik pada masa kehamilan memiliki resiko yang minimal dan memiliki manfaat bagi ibu. Adapun aktivitas fisik yang dianjurkan pada masa kehamilan yaitu aerobik, jalan-jalan, berenang, menari, bersepeda statis dan yoga. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberdayakan postur tubuh ibu hamil untuk siap dalam mengahadapi persalinan. Kegiatan pemberian yoga kehamiulan dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa kebidanan universitas muhamamdiyah mataram bekerjasama dengan desa Banjar Baru yang melibatkan bidan desa dan kader. Kegiatan ini dialaksanakan 9-10 Juni 2022 di keluarahan Banjar baru Kota Mataram dan diikuti oleh 20 peserta ibu hamil. Simpulan: kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan persiapan ibu hamil dalam mengahdapai persalainan dan dapat memebedayakan diri dengan keluhan yang sering dialami ibu hamil.
