Abstract:The authors of this article have studied physical and mechanical properties of several gold alloys rating 585 and 375. Modern scientific studies demonstrate a significant influence of different modifying admixtures on the properties of gold-containing alloys. For comparison purposes they've chosen 15 jewelry gold-based alloys with different chemical composition and impurities i.e. Ga, Co, B, Si, Zr, Mn, or without them. To conduct the study they've used all available physical and mechanical methods. The alloys were tested for hardness after casting, after aging, the tensile and breaking strength as well as for relative wear resistance. The results of each alloy were analyzed individually and also in comparison with others. The purpose of the study was to identify alloys with the most optimal hardness, strength and wear resistance. IntroductionThe article contains the results of studies of physical and mechanical properties of gold-based alloys containing modifying admixtures. To compare the quality of gold-based jewelry alloys they've studied 15 jewelry alloys the chemical composition of which is given in the table below. No. 7 alloy was chosen as the main reference alloy. The given alloy meets the requirements of GOST 30649-99 and is deemed to be "traditional" due to its common use by domestic jewelry enterprises. The main drawback of this alloy is insufficient quality of the jewelry, whereat, in aggregate, inherent characteristics of the alloy meet the technological and consumer requirements both during manufacture and in service. The main alloy drawbacks are induced by dendritic segregation during casting due to irregular arrangement of golden and silver elements, which reduces the reliability of finished products, and by rather high surface roughness and low characteristics of mold filling, which, from the technological point of view, makes the process of jewelry manufacture quite complicated.

Визначено інтегральний показник якості шкільної форми різних виробників, представлених на ринку України. Встановлено, що найважливішими показниками споживних властивостей шкільної форми є відповідність вимогам санітарно-гігієнічних норм, антропометричність і зручність та в однаковій мірі важливі гігієнічність і зовнішній вигляд / досконалість композиції. Розрахунок відносного показника якості, рівня якості, групового узагальненого показника рівня якості та інтегрального показника якості здійснювався на основі одиничних показників з використанням диференційного методу оцінки якості продукції. За результатами оцінювання найкращі результати одержали обидва зразки ТОВ «Хмельничанка», ПП «Промінь»-за комплект для хлопчиків та ТМ «Sasha»-за комплект для дівчаток. Найнижчі результати у ТМ «Ahsen»-за шкільну форму для дівчаток та ПП «Велма»-за форму для хлопчиків. The integral index of quality of school uniforms of different manufacturers represented on the Ukrainian market is determined. For this purpose, indicators have been selected that determine the functionality, ergonomics, aesthetics, reliability and safety of uniforms for children; their ranking was conducted; the weight is calculated. It was established that the most important indicators of the consumer properties of the school uniform are compliance with the requirements of sanitary-hygienic norms, anthropometry and convenience, and to the same extent important hygiene and appearance / perfection of the composition. The consensus of expert opinions on the Harrington scale is high. Five similar models of school uniform sets for boys and girls of the investigated enterprise and competitor firms were selected, identifying features of objects for their further evaluation and basic reference samples were determined. Samples of sets of production of TM «Milan» as the most well-known on the Ukrainian market of the manufacturer of school uniforms are named as standards. The calculation of the relative quality index, the quality level, the group generalized indicator of the quality level and the integral quality index was carried out on the basis of unit indicators using the differential method of product quality assessment. It has been established that special attention should be paid during the design of the school uniform to the selection of materials that should contain both hypoallergenic natural fibers and synthetic materials, which add additional useful properties to the material and prolong their service life.
