The drive of this study is to contribute to the literature of service and food quality significance in fast food restaurant industryof Malaysia. The study is carrying out from the viewpoint of fast food restaurant industry and the customers' satisfaction among generation Y in Malaysia. Three variables have been examined to demonstrate the significance of service quality and food quality on customer satisfaction. The outcomesratify the importance of greatercorresponding service and food standards in fast food restaurant industry. For food quality factor, allrespondents are agreed with statement. Findings from 1000 respondents of Generation Yshowed that two factors significantlyinfluenced customer satisfaction. Thisresearch would be valuable in the improvement of a more comprehensive model to simplify a better understanding of customers' satisfaction among generation Y on fast food restaurant in Malaysia; these findings would deliver a better comprehension of Malaysian customers' satisfaction andhelp design more effective marketing strategies
Zakat always play as an important element for Muslims and it is the funding for Muslims community itself. The completion of this study will help to understanding the zakat concept among Muslim community in Malaysia and at the same time will increase the collection of zakat by zakat institution for Muslim development purpose. The effect of attitude and subjective norms towards zakat compliance behavior are the focus to be investigated further in this research. The study was done among government servant in Malaysia by using a quantitative approach. 200 questionnaires were administrated among various level of government servant in Malaysia. Next, the data were analyzing by using SPSS Software. Correlation analysis and regression analysis were perform, thus the result indicates that attitude (r=0.417, sig=0.000, p<0.01) shows the highest of positive significant result towards zakat compliance behavior compared to other variable subjective norms (r=0.752, sig=0.305, p>0.05). This research warrant more investigation upon zakat compliance behavior and other variables. Thus, it has been shown that attitude give a significant relationship with zakat compliance behavior.
As huge consumers of water and energy, healthcare sector have a significant environmental impact. The healthcare sector is accountable for answering countless the most dangerous effects of climate change and pollution, deadly environmental emissions and other greenhouse gases itself. This study aims to observe empirically the effect of healthcare expenditure and heath sectors growth on CO 2 during Covid 19 outbreak in Malaysia. As the world has awakened to the potential risks of Covid 19, there has been a massive effort to add capacity to the healthcare system rapidly. In Malaysia, apart from stressing the need for the public to strictly adhere to the Movement Control Order (MCO), the government an immediate boost in funding for healthcare services through initial stage fiscal policy response to Covid 19 outbreak. This research used Dynamic Panel Data Model also known as longitudinal study. This study explained Dynamic Panel Data System GMM Estimation model is fitting to interpret the outcome, indicate healthcare expenditure and healthcare growth on Covid-19, inflation rate and unemployment rate have significant relationship with CO 2 emission. Empirical findings suggest that CO 2 emissions policies reforms are required to channelize healthcare sector growth to a more government spending resulting from fiscal policy designed by the government of Malaysia. The regulators of other countries should pull out CO 2 emissions policies to achieve sustainable economic growth and health sector growth development. The results provide important information to allow comparisons of the health-care sector with other economic sectors in Malaysia and the global healthcare sector in terms of CO 2 emission. In particular, the results are intended to contribute to the understanding of the CO 2 emission of national healthcare systems so that policymakers, especially in low-income and middle-income countries, can develop relevant CO 2 emissions mitigation policies.
This research explores the impact of organizational culture on expatriate's working performance at Universiti Malaysia Perlis. The factors that affect expatriate's job performance are important in enabling expatriates to acquire essential competencies that allow them to complete their tasks in workplace. This research was a survey (questionnaires) method. Data were gathered from 150 respondents consist of expatriates who were academicians and non-academician of legal age 18 and above on random basis from several academic schools in UniMAP. The analysis of the study uses Microsoft Excel and Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Software Version 16.0. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. According to the results presented, language barriers and communication style were found to have significant effects on expatriate's working performance. Therefore, from the results of two hypotheses tested there are meaningful relationships between language barriers and communication style toward expatriates working performance at Universiti Malaysia Perlis. This research has accumulated an empirical knowledge base which concentrates on coping behaviors for foreign staffs in higher education institution contexts. The findings of this research will help the management of UniMAP understand the impact of organizational culture's factors on expatriates working performance. The results of the present study showed that it could set up the right organizational culture and ultimately further improve the organization performance.
Nowadays smart phone has become a new social need and trend especially among the younger age groups, thus generating rapid and vast demand for all mobile phone brands. Interestingly, dealers of smart phones need to understand what factors affect such demand, typical features as well as characteristics of the buyers. The main objective of this study is to understand how price, social influences, relative advantageand brand image affect demand of smart phones in the northern regions of Malaysia, where the State of Perlis has been chosen. The primary data of this study was collected by distributing randomly 120 sets of questionnaires to respondents who live in Perlis. The responses obtained were analyzed by several statistical tools namely frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation analysis, Cronbach’s Alpha Reliability test, Person Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regression Analysis, computed by a data software, Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 17.0. This study revealed that price, social influences, relative advantage and brand image have significant relationships towards demand of smartphones. Detailed discussion of the study objectives, literature review, theories, research limitations, conclusions and finally some recommendations for future research study are given below. It is our hope that the results of the study can help mobile phone companies to have better understanding of the features of the smart phone market, be able to produce quality products and improve their marketing strategies.
