Antunini na Placi: prostorni razmještaj članova Bratovštine sv. Antuna duž dubrovačke Place u 15. stoljeću * Autorice donose pregled razvoja Place u glavnu poslovnu zonu srednjovjekovnoga Dubrovnika te prateći upisnik zakupnika poslovnih prostora prate smještaj i nazočnost članova dubrovačke elitne Bratovštine sv. Antuna na njoj. U članku se raščlanjuje međuodnos društvene i prostorne mobilnosti toga sloja, prate neke izdvojene biografi je koje ilustriraju taj odnos i donosi se sociotopografski prikaz korisnika najvrjednijega fonda dubrovačkih općinskih nekretnina.

The main strategy was to maintain the sea route from the northernmost point of the Adriatic to the Levant, and to introduce the necessary legal, commercial, and administrative practices modelled upon its own. During the 13th and 14th centuries Venice worked on gaining military and economic control over the Eastern Adriatic and “prepared the ground” for its later long dominance in that area. In this period, from Venetian perspective, the cities were primarily strategic and exchange points – and were increasingly perceived as the natural hub of connections between the Mediterranean and Central Europe or the West and the Levant. The infrastructures that supported the Venetian long-distance trade in the 13th and 14th centuries were related to security, equipment, and the possibility of transit, as well as supplying enough manpower on the way.

U radu se donosi detaljan pregled nekretnina koje je u dubrovačkom burgusu posjedovala vlasteoska obitelj Mençe tijekom 13. i u prvoj polovici 14. stoljeća. Prati se međusobna povezanost obiteljske strukture jedne od najutjecajnijih obitelji toga razdoblja, urbanoga razvoja grada te političko-društvenih okolnosti. U radu je primijenjena metodologija istraživanja socijalne topografije u urbanoj povijesti.
