Yang termasuk Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) adalah kafe, pedagang umum, sektor usaha kecil, penjual (pakaian), toko obat-obatan dan lain-lain. Masalah yang diteliti adalah bagaimana menentukan upah terendah menurut kebutuhan hidup yang layak (KHL) provinsi, apa hambatan bagi usaha kecil dan menengah dalam memberikan kompensasi di bawah wilayah dengan upah rendah, dan bagaiaman peran pemerintah dalam penerapan UMR di kota medan?. kewenangan dalam melaksanakan upah minimum regional untuk usaha kecil dan menengah. Kajian ini menggunakan metodologi yuridis regularisasi, lebih spesifik dengan mengambil stok, meneliti dan menyelidiki dan juga mendalami hukum sebagai sekumpulan pedoman atau standar positif dalam keseluruhan rangkaian hukum yang mengatur keberadaan manusia, memanfaatkan informasi penunjang, khususnya peraturan kerja, dan pedoman gaji, penelitian ini juga mengambil referensi dari buku, jurnal dan lain-lain yang berhubungan dengan masalah yang diangkat. Tugas badan publik dalam melaksanakan upah minimum regional yang diizinkan oleh undang-undang telah diatur dalam Peraturan Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana pengaruh biaya operasional, harga jual, dan pemanfaatan teknologi terhadap pendapatan petani dalam perspektif Ekonomi Islam di Desa Sorkam Kecamatan Sorkam Barat. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dari tanggapan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 100 petani padi sebagai responden untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel tersebut terhadap pendapatan petani dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Untuk mengetahui hasil penelitian disini peneliti menggunakan software SPSS dan juga menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa secara parsial biaya operasional dan penggunaan teknologi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani sedangkan harga jual tidak memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani. Secara simultan atau bersama variabel biaya operasional, harga jual dan penggunaan teknologi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani padi di desa pasar sorkam kecamatan sorkam barat
