This study was carried out to examine the Islamic credit card within the context of Islamic economics in terms of scientific research produced in response to the introduction of Islamic credit cards. Descriptive bibliometric statistical analysis and sentiment analysis are applied to secondary data in the form of 134 papers published over the last nine years and then processed with VOSViewer and SentiStrength. The results demonstrated that bibliometric mapping is divided into two clusters, with cluster 1 containing 33 keywords and cluster 2 containing 26. The results of sentiment analysis of the literature indicate 34% positive sentiment, 25% negative sentiment, 41% neutral sentiment, and 0% high negative and high positive sentiment.
Poverty is a sunnatullah. Islam focuses on poverty alleviation by laying the foundations of worship in the pillars of Islam in the form of social finance, namely zakat. In 2013, the National Zakat Potential reached Rp 217 trillion per year, but the realization was only around 1%. One of the leading causes of the low completion of zakat is the need for more public trust in the distribution of zakat through zakat institutions. Thus, it is necessary to assess the performance indicators of zakat management institutions to be published to the public. This study aims to assess and evaluate the performance of zakat management, including macro and micro dimensions, with a case study of LAZ Darut Tauhid (DT) Peduli Garut Regency. The sample used was 100 mustahik households using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis method used is the National Zakat Index using the Multi-Stage Weight Index estimation method. The results showed that the performance of zakat management by LAZ DT Peduli Garut is good, with the national zakat index value of 0.65 and the modified national zakat index value is 0.76.
This study aims to examine research patterns concerning the published zakat index. The studied data came from the Scopus database, which was accessed in its entirety on 13 February 2023. A total of 51 papers were retrieved. The data were analyzed with the Rstudio Bibliometrix program and biblioshiny instruments to determine the research advancements on the Zakat Index. The data demonstrates that the development of zakat index research began in 1994 and has accelerated since 2008. Al-Homaidi, E.A., is the most prolific writer on this subject. Zakat is the most commonly occurring keyword. Malaysia has the highest number of publications and citations on this topic. Malaysia's University Teknologi Mara has the most author affiliations. According to the themes in the zakat index study that has the potential to be expanded, this research has a great deal of room for growth.
Various measurements of the performance of zakat institutions, or the zakat index, have existed in multiple countries, with each indicator or variable used. This study aims to analyze the literature on the zakat index by covering research trends and future research directions. A total of 52 articles from Scopus with publications ranging from 1994-2022 were analyzed using the VOSViewer software. The quantitative approach is used in the bibliometric analysis, and the qualitative approach is used in the literature study. The findings in this study include research clusters divided into five groups: Zakat Performance, Zakat and Poverty Alleviation, Zakat and Human Development, Zakat Efficiency and Zakat in OIC or muslim countries.
