Hemodialysis (HD) and Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) are important kidney replacement treatments whose role is crucial to the survival of patients with chronic kidney disease. The quality of life can be considered as an indicator of therapy. The objective of this research was to find out the study comparative quality of life between patients given hemodialysis and CAPD treatment. This study used a cross-sectional methods. The data collection technique used was purposive sampling with resulting in the selection of 25 hemodialysis and 25 CAPD patients. The research result showed that there was a significant difference in the quality of life between the patients receiving hemodialysis and those given CAPD (P=0,001). In terms of physical health, there was a significant difference between patients given hemodialysis and those given CAPD (P=0,001), as well as psychological health (P=0,008), social interaction (P=0,001), and environment (P=0,002). The results indicate that CAPD patients have significantly better quality of life when compared with hemodialysis patients.
