Garbage problem is a common problem in urban areas, including in Bogor. This study aims to determine the number of routes and fleet of garbage transportation in Bogor. The method used is the Branch and Bound method by using the Vehicle Routing Problem model. The results obtained in the form of 69 garbage transportation routes and 36 garbage transport fleets are needed, with details of Central Bogor as many as 7 routes and 4 garbage transport fleets, North Bogor as many as 13 routes and 4 transport fleet units, East Bogor as much as 6 units 3 units of transport routes and fleets, 14 units of West Bogor and 7 units of transport fleet, 16 units of Bogor Selatan and 8 units of transport fleet, and 12 units of Tanah Sareal and 6 units of garbage transport fleet.
This research aims to explore students’ computational thinking skills within the implementation of the Research-Based Learning model of Teaching in Astronomy course in Kepler and Titius Bode Laws topics. The research design is comparing the modern class (experimental class) and traditional class with the traditional teaching type. RBL model of Teaching implemented in the experimental class, while direct Teaching implemented in the control class. Computer programming is also integrated into this research related to computational thinking skills. Matlab Software used in this research related to Astronomy course of Kepler’s and Titius Bode’s Laws topics. This research used triangulation methods. The quantitative methods were applied to analyze students’ achievement tests according to computational thinking skills. The Qualitative method was applied using the observation of students’ activity. Students’ achievement tests are represented by pretest and posttest scores. The posttest results for the experimental class were 80.4167 and the control class was 75.8108. The data analysis form pretest and posttest scores indicate a significant value of 0.012 (p ≤ 0.05) with the gain in mean that also emerged in both classes. The average value of student activity for the experimental class was 3.7444 and the control class was 2.4266 from a maximum value of 5. This research results that the RBL accompanied with computer simulations have a significant impact towards students’ computational thinking skills.
Madrasah Aliyah Al Falak adalah suatu lembaga pendidikan yang berada di Kota Bogor. Berdasarkan informasi dari guru matematika madrasah tersebut, permasalahan yang terjadi di madrasah ini adalah rata-rata nilai matematika siswa tergolong rendah yaitu 50 yang masih dibawah KKM yaitu 60. Hal ini menjadikan kami para tim pelaksana pengabdian untuk melakukan pelatihan rumus cepat integral sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat siswa untuk belajar integral dan meningkatkan kompetensi pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi integral. Sebelum dilakukan pelatihan rumus cepat integral, diberikan pretest untuk melihat kemampuan awal siswa dan diperoleh rata-rata pretest adalah 31. Selanjutnya dilakukan pelatihan rumus cepat integral dan diakhiri dengan pemberian posttest. Berdasarkan hasil posttest, diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 80.75 dan setelah dilakukan uji-t berpasangan diperoleh thitung = -87.179 < -ttabel = -0.209302 maka thitung terletak pada daerah H0 ditolak. Oleh karena itu, bisa disimpulkan ada perbedaan nilai antara sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pelatihan rumus cepat integral.
Garbage is a common problem that often occurs in many cities, including in Bogor. Every day, the volume of garbage in Bogor reaches 600 tons and only 475 tons can be transported to the Galuga Landfill Site. However, the vehicle which is owned by the Environmental Agency of Bogor is limited and has certain capacity.In this study, we formulated garbage transportation in the form of a Vehicle Routing Problem model with Branch and Bound method and completed using LINGO 11.0. The optimal solution obtained is a garbage transport route with a minimum distance, and obtained a distance is 1583.24 km, with West Bogor is 172.6 km, Central Bogor is 344.99 km, East Bogor is 298.79 km, North Bogor is 267.4 km, South Bogor is 252.41 km and Tanah Sareal is 247.05 km. Of the six sub-districts, there was a decrease in the distance of garbage transportation from Temporary Disposal sites to the Galuga Landfill. The Immigration Office of Class II Non-TPI Depok City is an institution that provides services engaged in the field of immigration, one of which is providing passport processing services. This increase in the number of passport applicants will have an impact on the availability of facilities, infrastructure, and passport management services which often reach 2000 – 3000 passports per month in 2018. From the problems above, the author offers a solution, namely by predicting the number of passport applicants. There are several methods used to solve this problem, including the double exponential smoothing method as the method that will be tested in this study This method uses parameter values obtained from trial and error calculations to produce accurate values because the data is fluctuating so it requires smoothing parameters. If the data used a lot in the calculation of forecasting then MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) forecasting will be smaller and vice versa . The results of the forecasting of passport creation applications produced by the Double Exponential Smoothing Method with a parameter of α = 0.4 (selection of the best alpha between 0 to 1) obtained a MAPE value of 14.28%. MAPE criteria that are worth 14.28% belong to the category of GOOD in forecasting the application for passport creation in the period to be obtained.
