There is no doubt that many psycho-emotional factors interfere with and produce changes in reproduction. Neglecting them means depriving our actions of efficiency because they will be incomplete. The adoption of the general term malformation syndrome to encompass all malformations draws attention on policy conditions set and communicate any teratologic process. Being a metabolic disease with clinical manifestations and multiple biochemical alterations, diabetes is a frightening scar of our century, considered to be the most important disease, which in itself leads to buccal-maxillo-facial polymorphic alterations. The study group consisted of 90 patients with congenital diabetes and stomatologic problems, aged between 26 and 65 years, the average age being 45 years. Distribution by gender: 60 men and30 women. In esthetic restorative dentistry, resin composites are generally encountered. Because of their excellent biocompatibility, lack of taste, odour, tissue discomfort, and toxicity, insolubility in body fluids, ease of use, good clinical/ aesthetic properties, stable colours, optical characteristics, efficient pigmentation, low cost, and repairability, they are becoming more common. Currently used composite resins have some flaws, particularly inconsistent mechanical properties. For a long time, particles of various sizes have been used as fillers to enhance these properties. In prosthodontics, poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) is commonly used as a dental base material. It does, nevertheless, have several weaknesses, including low strength and weak thermal properties. The effects of different sizes of alumina (Al2O3) particles on the poly(methyl ethacrylate) (PMMA) denture base were determined in this experiment. PMMA powder was blended with Al2O3 added to methyl methacrylate (MMA).For PMMA polymeric materials strengthened with Al2O3 (40 nm, 140 nm and 0.3-0.8 μm) in various concentrations, the mechanical properties were studied.Also, the synergetic influence of the three nanoparticle sizes in the resin matrix was studied.Furthermore, thermogravimetric (TGA) analysis and water absorption and solubility characteristics of the composites prepared were also examined. Among the most significant properties to be obtained for good denture materials is high mechanic properties, water absorption and solubility, since they have different attributes in the aqueous condition of the oral cavity. Results showed clear properties optimization, especially for the size-hybrid alumina composites.
Valproic acid and its salt, sodium valproate, are an effective treatment for epilepsy, the most common chronic neurologic disorder worldwide. Teratogenic associations reported after embryofetal exposure has limited the recommendations of valproate use in women of childbearing age, after careful evaluation of the benefits and risks of this medication. The mechanisms of valproate damage during pregnancy are complex and incompletely clarified up to date. Maternal and fetal impact of valproate is a critical issue, standing at the base of the new consensus on practical guidelines for clinical use of antiepileptic treatment in fertile women.
The increasing concern for the protection of the environment, through the use of renewable natural resources, has led in the last decades to the realization of a number of natural polymers or hybrids to be able to replace petroleum-based polymeric materials. Rosin is a low-cost wood resin extracted from conifers. In this paper, based on FTIR and Raman analyses, the spectra of natural Rosin resin and some hybrid resins with volume proportions of 45, 55 and 65% Rosin were studied. Some mechanical properties such as modulus of elasticity, elongation at break, tensile strength were determined from stress-strain diagrams obtained from tensile stress. Increasing the volume proportion of Rosin leads to a decrease in stiffness and strength properties and obtaining a visco-elastic behavior.

The inoculation of microorganisms in the oral cavity in circulating blood as a result of oral surgery or dental care procedures is much more common than in other areas of the body. Aggressive dental maneuvers that create solutions of continuity of oral mucosa, gingiva, periodontal surgery, periodontal surgery techniques can cause bacteria.
