The paper formulates such requirements for the geometric model of meteorological formations as the number of model points, the Doppler spectra of simulated reflections, probabilistic characteristics of the generated angular noises and their autocorrelation function. The methods of its synthesis as the basis for the next simulation are also substantiated. A mathematical apparatus has been developed for the synthesis of partially coherent models based on incoherent models equivalent to them, providing the required values of the probability distribution density parameters and spectral-correlation characteristics of angular noises. The synthesis of a four-point partially coherent model of meteorological formation is considered as an example of practical application of the theoretical results obtained. The monograph may be of interest to a wide range of scientific and engineering workers specializing in the fields of radar, radar measurements, simulation and semirealistic simulation. It can also be useful to teachers, as well as to graduate and postgraduate students majoring in the fields.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
