During COVID-19, consumers of skincare products pay more attention to safety and comfort. In such a crisis, consumers seek skincare products with brand effectiveness, high quality, and persuasive reviews by social media influencers. This study investigates the influence of brand effectiveness, product quality, and celebrity endorsers on purchase intention of halal skincare products in the pandemic. The study employed a survey of halal skincare users in East Java, Indonesia. A purposive sampling of 180 female respondents was analyzed; they were followers of Safi-Skincare Instagram and aged 18 and over. Descriptive statistics indicated that religious background strengthened the factors influencing the purchase intention towards a skincare product. The data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression with a statistical level of confidence of 95%. The result showed that brand effectiveness, product quality, and celebrity endorsers significantly affect purchase intention in Indonesia during the pandemic. The study concludes that Muslim standards reinforce rigid standards applied to skincare products with a halal logo, supporting good quality performance and encouraging stronger purchase intention. This study contributes to understanding consumer behavior in the pandemic using a purchase intention framework that can be applied to the safety and comfort of other consumer products. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the intention to participate in the Istiqlal energy waqf. This study examines the effect of knowledge, and environmental concern on attitude in Istiqlal energy waqf participation. In addition, it examines the effect of the variables in the Theory Planned Behavior on the intention to participate in the Istiqlal energy waqf. The analytical technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) which is operated with AMOS 23 software. The respondents in this study were 200 people representing gen Y and gen Z Muslims in Indonesia aged 18-40 years. The results showed that environmental concern had an effect on attitude and perceived behavioral control had an effect on the intention to participate in Istiqlal energy waqf. Meanwhile, knowledge has no effect on attitude. Attitude and subjective norms were also found to have no effect on the intention to participate in the Istiqlal energy waqf.
The Covid-19 pandemic has had numerous detrimental effects on Indonesia's economy. One is a rising unemployment rate due to a slowing economy, resulting in fewer employment prospects. This study aims to forecast the unemployment rate in Indonesia between 2023 and 2025, explicitly following the Covid-19 pandemic. This research utilises time series data for the period 2005 to 2022. The Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test indicates that the data for the unemployment rate are stationary at the first difference. The method used in this study is forecasting techniques using the ARIMA (1,1,1). Predictions indicate that the unemployment rate in Indonesia has increased during the Covid-19 pandemic. This can happen due to the increasing termination of employment (PHK) in Indonesia and the existence of social distancing which causes difficulties in working. However, after the Covid-19 pandemic, the unemployment rate is predicted to tend to decrease. This can happen because of government policies that help the community's economy, such as providing stimulus for business actors so that they can maintain their businesses and provide social security networks for informal workers. With government policies that help the community's economy, it has caused the unemployment rate in Indonesia to decline after Covid-19.
This study aims to determine the influences of internal and external variables of Islamic banks towards technical efficiency (TE)of Islamic banks in ASEAN 2013-2018. The data represented the sample from each country. The study was analyzed using two-step processes. The first stage is looking for technical efficiency (TE) with the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) as an intermediation approach. The second stage is conducting panel data regression analysis to determine the influence of internal and external variables of Islamic banks towards TE score. The result of the study indicates that the average TE value of Islamic banks in ASEAN at the periods of the study has very good efficiency of 0.92 (92.8 percent). Respectively, Islamic banks in Indonesia have TE score higher than Malaysia. Meanwhile, Islamic banks in Brunei Darussalam have the highest TE score, followed by Islamic banks in Thailand and the Philippines. The variable of total assets (lnTA), Degree of Capitalization (EQTA), and Bank's Financing Intensity (FINTA) have a positive and significant effect on the value of TE and the variable of economic growth (GDP) and inflation rate (CPI) have no effect on TE of sharia banks. Keywords: Technical Efficiency, Islamic Bank, ASEAN, Stochastic Frontier Analysis
