This research goals to know the students' learning difficulties in class XI on subjects sociology seen from internal factors, external factors and the efforts of teachers to overcome the problem of learning difficulties. The approach used qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This study uses 5 informants. The results showed students' learning difficulties from internal factors of observations and interviews to students note that the students showed the causes of learning difficulties that come from within them, such as having an attitude of learning, motivation, concentrating poor. Less able to demonstrate learning achievement, lack of confidence and poor study habits. Of external factors, family and school environment, lack of supervision and attention from their parents as well as the lack of availability of supporting infrastructure in the learning process causing the child into learning difficulties. The efforts of teachers in overcoming learning difficulties already showed results. Seen from the value obtained by the students after the teacher did stage treatment can reach values minimum completeness (KKM).Keywords: Students’ Difficulties of Studying, TeacherEffort, The Causes

This study aims to determine the factors that cause children to drop out of school in the free education program for students of SMA Negeri 2 Seponti, Kayong Utara Regency. The research method used is descriptive method with qualitative research forms. The data source of this research is the students of SMA Negeri 2 Seponti who have dropped out of school and the data are the results of observations and the results of interviews with school dropouts, parents of children, and school principals. The results showed that there were 6 children who had dropped out of school, the factors that caused children to drop out of school were caused by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors that cause children to drop out of school come from the factor of not having the desire to go to school, some children who have dropped out of school due to this factor are because children often skip school and never go to class. External factors that cause children to drop out of school come from economic factors and the environment where they live. peers who do not go to school and even promiscuity. Keywords: Dropout, Education, Free, School.

The quality and the success of learning is strongly influenced by the ability and the accuracy of the teacher in choosing and using the learning models, there are various methods that can be used by teachers to deliver the subject matter, among others, problem solving learning model. Problem solving learning model is learning model that emphasize a logical problem. This learning model encourages students to think systematically by confronting problems related to the life in the community. This problem solving learning model is more appropriate to be used in sociology subjects, by solving social problems that exist in society. By seeing the low interest in learning, the students tend to be passive and just fixated on the book. These make the students have a low learning interest. Because the learning model used by the teacher influence the quality of the teaching process. By this learning model the teacher can improve students' learning interest in the learning process.

Pendidikan termasuk kedalam salah satu aspek penting dalam kehidupan terutama bagi setiap individu yang ada. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari diperlukannya sumber daya manusia yang lebih baik agar manusia memiliki kapasitasnya masing-masing terutama pada perkembangan di era global dan persiaingan yang ketat pada saat ini, oleh sebab itu diperlukannya pengembangan keterampilan, terutama bagi pendidik yang akan mendidik setiap peserta didik untuk menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salah satu wujud dalam membantu guru untuk mengatasi dan memperbaiki proses pembelajaran yang terjadi di kelas. Dalam implementasi PTK, dimana agar materi mengenai PTK disampaikan kepada guru, perlu adanya sosialisasi, salah satunya sosialisasi dosen kepada guru mengenai workshop Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Upaya ini dilakukan sebagai wujud dosen dalam melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi salah satunya di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Permasalahan yang paling utama bagi guru-guru adalah berada di zona nyaman dan sulit untuk mengembangkan diri, karena sudah sibuk dengan kegiatan mengajar serta membuat perangkat pembelajaran, oleh sebab itu dengan adanya pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah dan dipublikasikan pada jurnal ilmiah agardapat mengembangkan diri tidak hanya pada proses pengajaran saja, tetapi dapat menulis dan dipublikasi pada jurnal nasional, proses kegiatannya meliputi penyampaian materi, praktek pembuatan artikel, dan praktek mengupload hasil artikel ke jurnal, adapun hasil yang didapat bahwa para peserta sudah sebagianbesar paham dengan tahapan untuk mengupload hasil artikel ilmiah dan pelaksanaannya berjalan dengan lancar serta tidak ada kendala yang berarti.
