The letter reports on the dielectric losses of differently textured SrTiO 3 films on Pt bottom electrodes at frequencies between 1 MHz and 1 GHz. Device parasitic contributions to the measured device losses were partially removed by measuring shorted devices. Different dielectric loss mechanisms were identified. These included strongly frequency dependent loss peaks and a low temperature loss increase that showed a power-law dependence on the bulk permittivity of the films. Possible origins of the different loss mechanisms are discussed.
synopsisDiallyl 2-substituted succinates, obtainable via the addition of alkenes or alkylaromatics to maleic anhydride, undergo intramolecular cyclization during polymerization to low molecular weight prepolymers. The amount of this cyclization and the properties of the cured prepolymers are profoundly affected by the structure of these 2-substituents. Thus, the degree of cyclization decreases with these substituents in the order: aralkyl and isobutyl > unhindered alkenyl > alkyl > hindered alkenyl. Properties of thermosetting molding compounds based on these prepolymers are inferior to those of poly-(diallyl phthalate) molding compounds.
A variety of thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers may be employed as binders in powder coating formulations. Some typical applications of various powder coatings are shown in Table 1.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
