This paper is concerned with th,e real-time extensions to the MMS protocol. We extend the time sensitive M M S objects and services b y means of timing features. This extension induces some changes in the behaviour of the client and the server entitiesboth in the confirmed and the unconfirmed cases. The pseudocode describing the behaviour of these entities is presented followed b y a modelling b y means of Nutt networks. The issue of missing a deadline in the framework of a real-time MMS is also tackled.
