ABSTRACTThe interpretation of the data available out of the response of a multiscreen photo graphic dosimeter has been subjected to different processing methods which are reviewed. A new one is presented which uses linear programming to help the choice of an hypothesis on the radiation. This method, through a high degree of flexibility, can take account of any peculierity of the dose or energy response of the emulsion. By this way, it may happen than one can take advantage out of what was considered as a drawback of this type of dosimeter.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
