Oil production from several platforms in the Point Argeullo area offshore California will be comingled in a submarine gathering system and transported ashore through a single common carrier pipeline. Partial oil/water separation will take place on the platforms. Wet oil from production platforms, containing up to twenty percent water, will be dehydrated in one common onshore treating plant. Dry oil exiting the treating plant will be measured with custody transfer precision and allocated for both ownership and operating costs in proportion to wet oil measurements on the platforms.
