There are seven species of skunk (Mustelidae) in Mexico which belong to the genera Mephitis, Conepatus and Spilogale (Ramírez-Pulido et al. 1996). They may be found all over the country and live in a wide variety of habitats. Some species occur sympatrically, particularly in tropical and subtropical ranges (Cervantes & Yépez 1995). However, their biology is relatively unknown.

ABSTRACTTwo new species of Pseudosinella Schäffer, 1897 (Collembola, Entomobryidae) of the petterseni group from the Bonet collection, with keys for its identificationTwo new species of Pseudosinella Schäffer, 1897 from the Bonet collection are described: Pseudosinella parattenuata sp. n. from USA and P. federicoi sp. n. from Argentina, both are established in the petterseni group, with specimens of Federico Bonet's collection. A key for the world species of the genus with a thick tooth in the empodium is given.
