Binaural hearing aids consist of two hearing apparatus, one for each. An intermediate device with an audio device to send audio data to two hearing aids simultaneously using wireless technology has already been developed. However, these devices have inconveniences in terms of carrying, usage and price by intermediate device. In this paper, a new concept of binaural hearing aid is proposed, one pair of wireless hearing devices are separated to be master and slave. A 2.4 GHz RF GFSK transmission method is used in this system for creating the wireless binaural hearing effect. The evaluation boards show a good performance in wireless data communication.
