This article discusses the application of repeated measures designs in sports research, which can be a useful tool to control variability in numerous situations. The repeated measures designs can be used in two situations: first, in a longitudinal study where each subject is tested repeatedly after a given time interval, and second where each subject is tested in all the treatment conditions. The procedure of solving two‐way repeated measures design has been discussed by means of Illustration using IBM SPSS software ver. 22. Furthermore, the issue of sample size determination has also been discussed for facilitating the researchers to determine the sample size in their experiments for a specific power. The repeated measures designs are of particular utility in situations where subject variability is an issue and obtaining a large sample is problematic and/or difficult.
All types of machine automated systems are generating large amount of data in different forms like statistical, text, audio, video, sensor, and bio-metric
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
