Physico-chemical parameters were determined along the Vellapatti, Tharuvaikulam and Threspuram coastal waters, southeast coast of India. All the physicochemical parameters such as sea surface temperature, salinity, pH, total alkalinity, total suspended solids, dissolved oxygen and nutrients like nitrate, nitrite, inorganic phosphate and reactive silicate were studied for a period of
An endeavor has been made to report the herbal synthesis of chromium oxide (Cr2O3) nanoparticles using aqueous extract of nigella sativa seed extract as a capping agent and chromic sulphateas a precursor material. The structural, morphological and optical properties of the Cr2O3 nanoparticles were analyzed by X - ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV- Visible spectroscopy. The antibacterial efficacy of chromium oxide nanoparticles was tested against Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The photocatalytic activity of biosynthesized Cr2O3 nanoparticles was evaluated by degrading methylene blue dye and Congo red dye under the irradiation of visible light. Apart from this, ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity were measured for different concentrations of Cr2O3 nanofluid using ultrasonic techniques. Thermoacoustical such as adiabatic compressibility, free length, acoustic impedance, relaxation time and absorption coefficient values are computed from the measured data and the results are interpreted in terms of particle - fluid interactions.
In this present work, the molecular interaction of the binary liquid mixture has been elucidated using ultrasonic technique. The recorded values of ultrasonic velocity (u), density (π), viscosity (πΌ), and refractive index (n) for the experimented binary liquid mixtures of Ethanol with Benzene at 303 K are used to calculate the derived parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (π· a ), free length (L f ), acoustic impedance (Z), free volume (V f ), molar volume (V m ), internal pressure (π i ), relaxation time (π), Enthalpy (H), Electronic polarization (π), Molar refraction (R m ), and the experimentally determined ultrasonic velocity have been compared with the with the computed values using different analytical models and empirical relations such as Nomoto's Theory (NOM), Free Length Theory (FLT), and Van Dael-Vangeal theory (VDV). The results are interpreted and reported to explain the behavior of benzene with ethanol.
Electroplating is one of the methods of plating the metallic layer with another metal. This coatings and metallic films are home to many versatile applications and form a vital technology. The aim is to provide a conclusion from the survey of different reaction mechanisms and the kinetics of nickel electro-deposition from different baths. By varying the temperatures, i.e., 308, 313, 318, 323, 328, 333 K in the binary system of nickel sulfamate with DMSO, properties such as density, ultrasonic velocity, and viscosity have been recorded in the investigation. Various acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (π·), intermolecular free length (L f ), free volume (V f ), internal pressure (π i ), acoustic impedance (Z), enthalpy (H), Gibbs free energy (βG) are determined from the experimental data. The results are interpreted on the approach of molecular interactions between the binary mixtures.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citationsβcitations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
