A simple and efficient method for the cleavage of tertbutoxycarbonyl amides and amines is described, which takes place on silica gel under microwave irradiation.
The present work describes an electroanalytical study of the poiarographlc behavior (DPP) of the pesticides paratwon and paraoxon In the presence of Pd( I I). Thls metalilc Ion shows affinity for the thiophosphate group and catalyzes the hydrolysis of paratMon but not paraoxon. A method Is proposed for the simultaneous determination of both pestlcldes based on the fact that parathion can be determlned by measuring the p-nitrophenol formed after the addnlon of Pd(II), whereas paraoxon can be measured directly by Its reductton peak.
