Knowledge is a competitive advantage for companies. Knowledge Management helps to keep this competitiveness. Universities face with challenges in research, innovation and international competitiveness. The purpose of this paper includes studying Knowledge Management Models, and Innovation Models apply to Research Groups of Universities, through an analysis of relation in inter-organizational level. Some researchers and leaders of research groups participated in a survey about knowledge management and innovation. Here we show the relationship between knowledge management, innovation and research, including processes and operations performed by universities around these. We organize the results in three dimensions: Knowledge Management perception, the relationship between Knowledge Management and Innovation, and Strategic Knowledge organization. Too, we identify a generality of good practices, challenges, and limitations on Research Groups for Knowledge Management.
Evaporation is a process that is widely used in the chemical industry and aims to concentrate a solution consisting of a non-volatile solute and a volatile solvent. In this paper the design of robust control systems for a simple effect evaporation system is presented. Two controllers were designed, the first was based on the Algebraic Riccati Equations (ARE) solutions technique and the second was derived from the D-K iteration method. To show the potentiality of the control system proposed, we present the results of some tests carried out in simulation.
For this study, articles from the fields of Social Sciences; Economics; Econometrics and Finance; Business and Management; and Accounting have been monitored for the period from 1979 to 2019. VOSviewer® was used to create, visualize and explore bibliometric information from Scopus scientific database, for the identification of trends about indicators that have not been frequently considered, compared to competitiveness regional indexes territorial competitiveness indicators. It has generated preliminary conclusions using citation relationships between journals, collaborative relationships between researchers, and coexistence relationships between scientific terms from the identified target literature. The identified trends are related to Renewable energy, Sustainability, Higher Education, Destination Competitiveness, Knowledge Management, Cross Borders Regions and Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
