International audienceMobility of users accessing ubiquitous information systems (ISs) induces new requirements that constitute new challenges. IS should be now particularly adaptive and contextaware by managing and responding properly to occurring events. This proposal tries to reduce the gap between both research areas: context reasoning and event processing. It studies the relation between context and events and proposes a metamodel for coupling context information and event metadata. The metamodel supports a distributed approach imposed by the ubiquity nature of the system that is implemented through an Event Driven Architecture, maximizing security and communication issues between distributed components
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
