Hollardiella akkaensis n. gen. n. sp. (Orthacea) from the upper Eifelian, and Linguopugnoides carens taidaltensis n. subsp. from the upper Lochkovian are described.
Describes a spirifer, probably Pustulatia pustulosa, found in Devonian deposits of the Taoudenni basin, French West Africa. The species is a well known North American form.
Describes five new brachiopods of the family Rhynchonellidae, on the basis of material from Liassic localities in the Nancy region, France-- Rhynchonella aviasi (upper Hettangian), Piarorhynchia? roubaulti (upper Hettangian and lower Sinemurian), Scalpellirhynchia remyi (Lotharingian), Cymatorhynchia milloti (upper Aalenian), and Curtirhynchia arambourgi (upper Aalenian).
