Triazole derivatives R 0280Synthesis of Triazole-oxazolidinones via a One-Pot Reaction and Evaluation of Their Antimicrobial Activity. -A library of triazolylmethyloxazolidinones is synthesized by cycloaddition of aryl isocyanates with epibromohydrin followed by a three-component Huisgen cycloaddition reaction. Compound (VI) is found to be a potent inhibitor of the growth of M. smegmatis having an MIC fourfold higher than that of isoniazid. -(DEMARAY, J. A.; THUENER, J. E.; DAWSON, M. N.; SUCHECK*, S.
