This study examined electronic payment systems (EPS) and service delivery in chosen Money Deposit financial institutions in Nigeria. This study aims to evaluate the use of two electronic banking instruments which comprises Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and Point of Sales (POS) terminal usage in enhancing service delivery of Money Deposit Bank in Nigeria. The applications of these two instruments over the years have been given mixed outcomes among both the customers and even the bank officials in Nigeria. Survey research design was adopted in this study. The population of the study covers nineteen (19) Money Deposit banks in Lagos, Nigeria. Four (4) money deposit banks were purposively selected based on their wide coverage and supposed large number of customers. One hundred and eight (108) questionnaires were collected from the distributed one hundred and twenty (120) among bank staff and bank customers of Money Deposit Banks in Lagos with the aid of convenient sampling technique. Regression technique was employed to test the influence of E-payment systems in relation to service delivery. The results showcased significant influence of ATM and POS on service delivery of Money Deposit Banks in Nigeria. The study recommended that banks should spread Automated teller machines and Point-Of-Sales terminal across the towns and cities. And more so, to increase the patronage on EPS, the Money Deposit Banks should intensify their education to sensitize the prospective users of the benefit of these instruments.
