The management of resorts is not only exerting too much effort in overseeing their business, thinking the new attraction to introduce and making their amenities and facilities even better. Today, they are also focused on performing their Corporate Social Responsibilities. The study presented the Corporate Social Responsibilities of selected resorts in Cabanatuan City. The study aimed to assess different aspects of CSR such as social, ecological and economic aspects of the resorts along with determining the problems that hinder the resorts in doing their Corporate Social Responsibilities. The descriptive method of research was utilized and the normative survey technique was used for gathering data. The questionnaire served as an instrument for collecting data. Randomly selected employees of three selected resorts in Cabanatuan City were taken as respondents. Descriptive statistics such as weighted mean and percentages were the statistical tools used in analyzing and interpreting the research data. Findings showed that in general, employees had assessed their resorts' CSR as evident in terms of social aspect concerning health and safety, ecological and economic aspects. Lack of time, unavailability of technology, lack of fund and lack of employee motivation were identified to be the top problems of resorts' management in doing their CSR programs. It was concluded that the selected resorts in Cabanatuan City have included CSR in their operations. It is recommended that resorts must extend their CSR activities in the community and other stakeholders.

Cooperatives have brought significant contributions to uplift the lives of many individuals and to resolve problems related to financial, marketing and production. This study was conducted to determine whether the different registered cooperatives in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija were attaining their objectives and whether the board of directors and officers were performing their duties and responsibilities by fulfilling their management functions. Furthermore, this study was conducted to determine the different constraints the cooperatives were facing that could affect their everyday operations. The researcher utilized the descriptive research design using a surveyquestionnaire technique to gather the necessary information. Moreover, the researcher with the use of T-test determined whether there is a significant difference in the extent of attainment of the cooperative objectives, level of performance of the officers in performing their management functions and the constraints affecting the operations of the organizations based on the perceptions of the officials and the members of cooperatives. Findings have shown that the existing registered cooperatives in the city were able to attain their cooperative objectives to a very great extent. It has also been found out that the board of directors and officers were able to perform their management functions very satisfactory. On the other hand, the respondents perceived that the constraints affecting the operations of cooperatives were just minor problems. The two groups differ in their responses on the extent of attainment of their cooperative objectives and on the constraints affecting the operations of the cooperatives while both groups of respondents have the same perception as to the level of performance of the board of directors and officers in performing their management functions.
This experimental study focused on the production of alternative feeds for broilers chickens using golden apple snail shell as the main ingredient. Three groups were compared and the characteristics of them are as follows: The commercial group was given pure commercial feeds, treatment one group (T1) was given 25% pomaceacanaliculata's shell that was mixed with 37.5% of rice bran and 37.5% of corn, and the third group which was treatment (T2) was given 50% pomaceacanaliculata's shell that was mixed with 25% of rice bran and 25% of corn as feed mix.The study found out that golden apple snail shell can be mixed with feeds for broiler production without negative effect on the carcass recovery. It can replace commercial feeds as food for broilers especially if the farm area or area near it were infested by golden apple snail. Although the consumption cost among the treatments and the commercial feed do not differ, it is practical to use T2 as a substitute for commercial feeds since it is less than P3.00 to P5.00 per consumption cost.The findings of this study have valuable financial implications, particularly to the farmers and poultry owners.
This paper aimed to investigate who influenced the 211 freshman students from the College of Management and Business Technology (CMBT) to take their course.Their influencers' reasons for choosing the course and selecting the NEUST, San Isidro Campus (SIC) as their mother University. A survey questionnaire was the instrument utilized to gather data and descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, and weighted mean were the statistical tools used in analyzing and interpreting the gathered data. Findings have shown that the advice of the respondents' parents played a big role in their choice of a college course. As to their to their reasons for taking their course, the course they have chosen is popular to the majority of their acquaintances and they chose NEUST SIC because of its scholarships and grants, excellent teachers and quality education.
