<p>Reading is one of the cultures in society that tends to be abandoned along with the rapid development of information technology as children nowadays tend to choose something practical as a medium for finding information. Therefore, to improve the latest learning methods through digital media, character-based literacy comics become the main choice in building positive educational values among elementary school students. This study aims to produce character-based comic media, determine the feasibility and effectiveness of character-based comic media on the development of character education for fourth-grade elementary school students. This research used development research consisting of some stages, namely: research and data collection, planning, product draft development, expert validation, expert-based revision, limited trials, improvement of the product of limited trial results, field trials, improvement of the final product, and product dissemination. The subjects of this study were the fourth-grade students of the Koran Elementary School (SDQu) i.e. 26 students consisting of 6 students for limited trials and 20 students for field trials. The results of this study show that: (1) character-based comic media was produced in thematic-integrative learning, (2) the developed comic media were viewed in terms of the quality aspects of media aspects and material aspects from the experts, the teacher, and the results of students’ responses were categorized very well , and (3) comic media developed effectively increased the value of student character in the learning process.<strong></strong></p>
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bermula dari dihilangkannya jam kelas bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) serta masih kurangnya jumlah guru BK di SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Peneliti ingin mengkaji lebih jauh mengenai motivasi, makna profesi, dan pengalaman komunikasi yang dialami oleh guru BK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pendekatan ini mencoba untuk mencari pemaknaan mengenai bagaimana manusia mengkonstruksi makna dan konsep-konsep penting dalam kerangka intersubjektivitas. Pada penelitian ini data diperoleh dari tujuh guru BK sebagai key informant. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tiga kategori yang melatarbelakangi alasan untuk menjadi guru, yaitu keinginan pribadi, arahan orang tua dan lingkungan pergaulan atau pertemanan. Hasil penelitian ini juga memunculkan dua kategori makna identitas guru BK, yaitu makna positif dan makna negatif. Makna positif dinyatakan pada guru sebagai orang tua, dicintai anak-anak, membantu siswa mengenali dirinya, harus tahu segala hal, dan guru yang sempurna. Makna negatif dinyatakan pada guru sebagai ganjal pintu dan guru yang masih dianggap sebagai polisi sekolah. Pengalaman komunikasi guru BK berlangsung pada konteks komunikasi antarpribadi, kelompok dan organisasional. Guru BK sebagai komunikator pendidikan harus memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional. Gambaran kondisi guru BK dalam memaknai profesi diharapkan dapat dijadikan rujukan pengambil kebijakan agar lebih memahami secara mendalam mengenai pentingnya keberadaan guru BK di sekolah. Kata-kata
This study aimed to determine family communication based on satisfaction with the uses of new media technology by millennial mothers and teachers in children studying from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted qualitatively through online interviews at the beginning of school from home during pandemic Covid-19. It was conducted from May until June 2020 with 30 millennial mothers born in the 1980s to 1999 in Indonesia. Millennial mothers experienced positive feelings (confidence, satisfaction, happiness) and negative feelings (burden, shock, frustration, stress, and depression). The child experienced positive feelings (happiness, satisfaction, enjoyment) and negative feelings (missing school, tiredness, stress, and sadness). The study results show that negative feelings are determined by negative thoughts caused by mothers’ communication when accompanying their children studying online. Therefore, mothers need to improve how they communicate with their children in school and at home to deal with negative emotions.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh terpaan informasi riset di Pusat Penelitian Elektronika dan Telekomunikasi LIPI melalui website www.ppet.lipi.go.id terhadap sikap mahasiswa mengenai penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh jumlah waktu yang digunakan dalam mengakses informasi terhadap sikap mahasiswa mengenai penelitian, isi pesan terhadap sikap mahasiswa mengenai penelitian, dan hubungan individu dengan media terhadap sikap mahasiswa mengenai penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan terpaan informasi riset melalui website www.ppet.lipi.go.id berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sikap mahasiswa Teknik Telekomunikasi Telkom University mengenai penelitian. Secara parsial, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel jumlah waktu yang digunakan dalam informasi dan variabel hubungan individu dengan media memberikan pengaruh yang siginifikan terhadap sikap mahasiswa mengenai penelitian. Sedangkan variabel isi pesan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang siginifikan karena memberikan pengaruh yang sedikit. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan informasi riset telah melakukan terpaan cukup besar terhadap sikap mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Telekomunikasi Telkom University mengenai penelitian yang mengakses website www.ppet.lipi.go.id. The Indonesian government has set 60 priority districts/cities for stunting handling. Based on this determination, Sumedang is included in the priority district because in 2018 the stunting prevalence rate reached 32%. The selection conducted by Bappeda Sumedang contained 10 villages where the prevalence rate of stunting was high and three of them were villages in Rancakalong. To overcome this, the Rancakalong Community Health Center initiated the “Gempur Stunting” Health promotion Program which has succeeded in reducing the prevalence of stunting from 27.7% to 19.8%, making it an exemplary health promotion program. This research was conducted to determine the success factors of the "Gempur Stunting" health promotion. The results showed that reducing the highest stunting prevalence rate in Sumedang was due to the following supporting factors: (1) variations in community-based activities; (2) Good collaboration and coordination between related sectors, and (3) Reliability of the stunting-fighting health promotion program.
