<p>Authoritative reviews and meta-analyses demonstrate that no psychotherapy is superior to any other, although all are superior to no treatment. These bodies of research also suggest that a core set of features shared by all therapies account for a significant portion of client symptomatic improvement. Process researchers are demonstrating that the most effective therapies are customized to individual patients.</p>
